About The Wedding

The wedding took place on January 1, 2026. For Jay and me, our hearts and families are deeply rooted in Indian culture. Although we grew up in the States, we’ve spent almost every summer in India visiting family, which has given us a strong connection to both worlds. For our wedding, we wanted our friends and family in America to experience the best of India, and vice versa. Our vision was for the celebration to feel like a giant shaadi-ka-ghar Airbnb—highlighting Indian hospitality, entertainment, and food—while also bringing in elements of our American life through fun dances, heartfelt speeches, after-parties, and creative décor. Since so many loved ones travelled across the world for us, we also wanted to surprise them with unforgettable moments—whether it was fireworks erupting at the peak of a Sufi performance after the ceremony, or hosting our welcome party at Paro, a local Jaipur bar.
