Other than marrying my husband, asking Meenal to be my makeup artist was hands down the best decision I made for the wedding. She’s not just incredibly talented—she’s pure magic with her brushes and a joy to have around on what can otherwise be a chaotic day. From the very beginning, Meenal went above and beyond. She didn’t just do my makeup—she poured her heart into every little detail. She helped me choose jewelry, hair accessories, skincare tips, and even guided me in picking the varmala design. And when my husband unexpectedly needed a touch-up, she graciously made time for him too—something we hadn’t even discussed beforehand. That’s just the kind of person she is: thoughtful, generous, and fully present. I’m someone who knows absolutely nothing about makeup, so when she asked (in the gentlest voice) what kind of look I wanted, all I could say was, “Just keep it natural—whatever you think is best.” And I’m so glad I trusted her. Each of my three looks was unique, elegant, and so perfectly me! Every time I looked in the mirror, all I could say was “Wow!” She created a calm and peaceful space in the midst of the wedding frenzy—her makeup room became my little sanctuary where I could breathe and feel taken care of. What I admired most is how real she is—no over-the-top gimmicks, no flashy sales pitch. Just honest, heartfelt work done with incredible skill and intention. Her makeup didn’t mask me; it brought out the best in me. Thanks to Meenal, I felt beautiful in a way I’ve never felt before—on the most important days of my life. I cannot recommend her enough. Long story short: ALL THE BRIDES SHOULD GET THEIR MAKEUP DONE BY MONIKA'S BLOSSOM Long story: I would like to take a moment to thank and appreciate the mekeup by Monika's Blossom for the wonderful looks they created for me during my wedding. The team will not just be your makeup and hair artists. They will be your friends, your support system, your hype girls and much more during the whole process. I had the best freakin time while getting ready by them. First, let's talk about the atmosphere in the makeup room. I had heard everybody saying that the most difficult part for the bride is to sit on the makeup chair and get the makeup done for hours. But trust me I enjoyed getting ready by Meenal, Hina and their cutu assistant Simran. You know I felt like I was getting ready by my friends where we had so much fun during the entire process. So if you want this kind of energy while getting ready, I 10/10 recommend this. Now let's talk about the looks for me. All the four looks were completely different. The team nailed all the looks. The looks matched the vibe and the feel of the events. I was indeed looking like a fun south indian girly during my haldi, to a point where I was looking more malayali than my malayali husband. Sangeet look was so classy and glam. Phere and reception looks were so elegant and royal. I am so very happy that Meenal and the team did my hair and makeup. I still have everyone coming and telling me about how beautiful I looked. Heena, the hair stylist, was so good. She just understood the assignment and delivered and how!!!! The braid, the half bun and the full bun, everything was so on point. In my sangeet, i had a very heavy veil which had no purpose of staying but it did and we celebrated that after the event!! Great job!!! I also had a couple of questions in between as to what techniques they were using. Meenal answered all my questions, which she should have charged for since she also runs an academy. ? At the last, Meenal asked me to name all looks so here we go: Haldi - Malayali Mulgi Sangeet - Glam Overdose Phere - Maharani Reception - Royalty All in all, I enjoyed getting ready for my events and i believe all the brides should experience this!! 8th & 9th February bride, Minal!
