Shagun Chadha

I’ve known Shagun before my wedding date was finalised and I knew we would definitely work together for one of the days:) After my personal makeup class with her, I realised she has a great command over her knowledge of products and style and I liked the way she communicated. She knows how to give suggestions without being forceful and she knows when to listen which not everybody can do! When I told her I was having a court marriage and I didn’t want full bridal makeup with all the works- she was super accommodating and yet she took it as seriously as she would for any other event. Given that the date of the court marriage takes some time to be finalised, she remained patient while I finalised the date and even delayed a personal engagement for this which shows her commitment to her work. We had a trial way in advance and since I changed what I was wearing, she even agreed to meet me thereafter to discuss my ideas again. She never once let me feel like she didn’t take this as seriously as a wedding which might require a heavier look. On my wedding day, I was running a fever and was feeling stressed and tired but she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. At the end of it, I didn’t look tired or feverish and I was so happy with the outcome. We had discussed that I had a lunch and dinner that day for which I would keep the make up on. She prepared a little touch up kit for me and even at the end of the day, I think the makeup didn’t budge! Shagun is open to feedback, she enjoys discussing your style and giving suggestions wherever needed. She has a great energy and presence which I think adds a different dimension to her work. She’s organised and meticulous in remembering details. The days leading up to the wedding were stressful and falling sick was even more stressful but Shagun started my wedding day off in such a positive way for which I’m really thankful. My makeup was very close to my natural style and she made sure to make me feel comfortable in my skin at every step of the way. I’m happy we worked together and hope we find more reasons to in the future:)

Shagun is a thorough professional! The quality of products she uses for makeup are amazing. She makes sure to give the customer the look she has in mind for her special day. Her make up is flawless and makes you feel beautiful. I couldn’t take my eyes off myself after getting dressed up by her. I would highly recommend her for your special day or even for a party makeups.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Shagun on a couple of occasions. The biggest of them being the Dhol Night during my wedding. While her approach with her make up is clean, professional and adjusted to your exact taste, she’s also a very fun person to work with. When your nerves are on high gear during your wedding you want someone whose easy going and calming - and she’s your girl. The make up she did on me was perfectly apt, not over the top and yet standing out. Highly recommend her - both for the make up and the personality that comes with!

Shagun recently worked with me for my make up for my Roka ceremony. My experience with her was just fabulous. Not only is her work great, she is just an amazing person to have around on your special day. She works more like a friend than a make up artist. She made me extremely comfortable and did not complete my look till I was 100% happy with it. She took into account every detail of the look that I wanted and made me look and feel gorgeous on my day. I would love to work with her again and would recommend her to everyone!

I got my cocktails and wedding makeup done from Shagun and I absolutely loved both my looks. The day I went for the trial before my wedding, I instantly knew I wanted to go ahead with Shagun. Her professionalism, warmth and attention to detail will take her a long way. I love the fact that she customises looks based on people’s personalities and the fact that she believes in enhancing people’s natural features vs. radical transformations. She’s super thorough, she asked me a lot of questions to understand me as a person first and then recommended looks. I wanted something offbeat and not super traditional and she gave me exactly that. She took a lot of personal interest in my ideas and went every extra mile to satisfy me. What I also appreciate is that she’s a friend first, which I think a lot of people aren’t in this profession. I clearly remember she was super chill on my functions and understood my anxieties and calmed me down when I was freaking out on my wedding day. Having her play such a key role during my wedding was the best decision I made. I would recommend her 110% to every bride. 🤗🤗
