How to Wear a Lehenga?

BY The WMG Bride | 09 Oct, 2017 | 961 views | 2 min read

Lehenga is an ancient piece of traditional clothing also called as ghaghra. It is ideal and would befit every kind of occasion or ceremony, be it a sangeet, mehndi, reception, or wedding. It is a three-piece garment consisting of a blouse, a pleated skirt, and a dupatta. Unlike a saree, it saves you the time of drawing pleats!

A lehenga could be worn in many ways representing many cultures. The usual way is where the dupatta is tucked at one side of your waist and rest is draped from behind and let loose in the front or you could throw it over your right shoulder like a saree pallu. The double dupatta style would be perfect for a modern bride and much more.
