Frowned upon once, more and more brides are picking white and neutrals as a bridal hue and owning it! Colour blocking in any way- with the jewellery, the dupatta or the work on the lehenga makes it work as a unique bridal hue.

In general, color blocking is out and Monotones are in. Silvers, golds and greys are going to be big this year, with sequin work taking the lead on that. We have been spotting more and more brides opt for monotone metallic colours, and while it does look great, it looks pretty unique as well!
Velvet is back!
Yup, velvet- the forgotten bridal fabric is making a comeback for brides, and how! Velvet is gonna be everywhere, and in every colour! But just make sure to wear it right.
Sleeveless Blouses
Three quarters and full sleeves have been around for a while but more and more brides are opting for crop tops and modern blouses with sleeveless silhouettes.

Customising your lehenga is one thing, but weaving your names or your love story in it is all the more special!
Picking a lehenga gown instead

We saw Youtuber Sherezade Shroff rock this pretty fusion of a lehenga and a gown on her wedding, and this is one more trend to look out for in 2017! Modern lehengas that look like gowns- fairytale weddings are made of things like these aren't they?
Belts

Slim , Narrow Borders
Borders go from big and thick to narrow and slim, both on dupattas and lehenga borders. Focus stays more on the lehenga and a running embroidery through it
Going bright but mute the dupatta

Another great mini trend- Instead of going all out bright, how about you dull your outfit down (and add some contrast) by taking a lighter dupatta like white, blush pink or peach? Works really well with the bridal lehenga as well.
Ombre picked up quite a bit last year, and will be big this year too! Works really well for colours like pinks and peaches!
Apart from these, trends we have already told you about like high neck and off shoulder blouses, cape blouses, double dupattas and floral motifs are also gonna be big in 2017! Click on the links for more!
