A WMG-Approved Guide To Plan Your Destination Wedding In Dubai

BY Sakshi | 26 Sep, 2023 | 454 views | 5 min read

Nowadays, destination weddings across the globe are quite popular, and it's easy to see why! Everyone gets to experience the best of both worlds—weddings and vacations—which unquestionably guarantees a celebration unlike any other! Logistically, it is more difficult, but with the rise of incredible wedding-ready locations and talented wedding planners, it has become simple to arrange a wedding abroad, especially in a country that welcomes Indians with open arms. Team WedMeGood travelled all the way to Dubai to experience it as a destination wedding venue, and trust us when we say, we were impressed beyond expectation! There is undoubtedly no other location as luxurious and equipped with top-notch amenities as Dubai for a destination wedding.

Like they say, anything is possible in Dubai... including the wedding of your dreams!

Getting There

Because of how easily accessible Dubai is from India and the majority of other nations, there are no lengthy flights necessary! Most flights to Dubai take less than 4 hours, making it a perfect site for NRI weddings since guests will have a shorter travel time than for India, especially if they are travelling from abroad. Additionally, flights to Dubai are reasonably priced, making it a viable choice for larger parties.

Vendors & Logistics

There is no shortage of local suppliers in Dubai who are willing to help with the logistics of Indian weddings. A wedding planner is absolutely very helpful whether you decide to engage Indian vendors locally or fly them in from India. The Dubai Vendor Showcase on WedMeGood features suppliers for every requirement and price range!

Sightseeing

Another important factor that comes in is- how do you make the wedding a great experience for your guests? Well, when it comes to sightseeing and recreation, Dubai pretty much offers it all, from beaches to mountains to man-made wonders like the Burj Khalifa and Palm Jumeriah.

There are several possibilities, including souks brimming with old world charm, desert excursions unlike anywhere else in the world, and boats offering glitzy views of the cityscape. WMG suggests experiencing AYA, an immersive new age event, and visiting Al Seef to experience a bit of Old Dubai. Make your guests' time at the wedding particularly special by scheduling some tours for them to take during downtime.

Wedding Venues

Dubai offers unrivaled hospitality! The city is home to thousands of hotels and resorts, all of which strive to provide their visitors with the most comfortable stay possible. But here are our top three selections from WedMeGood for wedding-ready venues!

The best aspect is that although though each of these hotels has a totally different atmosphere and price range, because they are connected, there are numerous ways to mix and match the venues and lodging inside the three hotels.

Habtoor Palace

Habtoor Palace is royalty reimagined and is as opulent as it sounds. Everything about this hotel is as class apart, including the luxurious ballrooms, magnificent suites, and regal rooms.

It provides a lovely view of the Dubai Water Canal and is conveniently situated on Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Habtoor City. This palace with Beaux-Arts design features 52 suites and 182 guest rooms. The wide residential-style suites and sleek modern guest rooms at Habtoor Palace Dubai seamlessly combine luxury comfort and sophistication. The Bentley and Churchill Suites, which represent the height of luxury, were adored by WMG. WMG loved the Bentley and Churchill Suites, which are the epitome of luxury.

With a butler service, fine dining, sprawling gardens, and three sparkling pools, Habtoor Palace is ideal for a contemporary wedding.

Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City

The biggest Hilton in the Middle East, Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City, is up next. With more than 1000 rooms and a variety of settings, it is a fantastic choice for a big, fat Indian wedding.

Whether you want to party by the pool with a backdrop of the Dubai Skyline or throw a soiree in one of the biggest ballrooms in Dubai, the hotel is well-equipped for an elegant celebration in the heart of Dubai.

It also houses six innovative restaurants, so you can expect the catering to be top notch!

V Hotel Dubai- Hilton Curio Collection

V Hotel Dubai is unlike any hotel we've seen before! With futuristic designs and quirky décor, this one is loved by younger crowds!

The hotel overlooks the Dubai Water Canal and is designed to reflect the spirit of the city. WMG loved the Sky Lounge here, which has such a vibrant vibe for a bachelorette or after-party!

The icing on the cake here is that is home to Dubai's premier stage show, La Perle by Franco Dragone, which is an absolute delight to witness! We particularly adored the attentive personalization and attention to detail at these hotels! They are open to any customisations you may like to make your day even more memorable, from customised guest keycards to lovely little sweet surprises.
