Vibrant Rajasthan Wedding With Adorable Couple Shots

BY Aakanksha | 25 Mar, 2022 | 3442 views | 5 min read

Aditi & Aditya's celebrations reminded us of why exactly we love the big glamorous Indian weddings. They were full of laughter, joy, and tons of inspiration for all future brides & grooms to be. From a bright yellow lehenga for her Mehendi to a stunning sequin saree she opted for her engagement, Aditi's bridal style was on point. And we loved how she added just a hint of bandhani in her second dupatta and elevated her entire bridal look.

Meet Aditi and Aditya

Aditya and my parents are close family friends. I’ve known of him since I was a child but I really started to get to know him a few years ago when we kept running into each other like a movie from Barbeque in New York to bars in khan market. We started hanging out more and more over 2 years from 2018. We both got along with each other’s friends so easily so it became very easy to become a part of each other’s life. In 2020 when the pandemic struck, Aditya was stuck in Singapore due to the lockdown, this continued for the next 6 months. This was when we both realized how much we wanted to be together so as soon as Aditya got back we informed our parents and made things official.

The Wedding

From The Bride:

19.11.21 was our wedding date. We had a 3-day event from 17th- 20th. We were sure we wanted a destination wedding where everyone could escape for a few days and really spend some quality time together. Our most important goal for the wedding was to have fun. We wanted it to be a fun experience for our family and friends especially because everyone was getting together after 2 years. Our priority was good food, good music, and good drinks. We made a promise to each other when we got ended that come what may we have to have a blast at our wedding and not worry about anything.

Wedmegood review: Yes, I used to look up all our vendors and compare rates. It really helped me get a better understanding of rates, services, and also review was very helpful. I used the checklist on wag for brides which was very helpful as well

Vendor Reviews

Venue: Mundota Fort & Palace, Jaipur
This was a truly unique property. Getting married in a real 13th-century fort has its been own charm rather than a normal 5-star hotel. Though the property can work to improve in small areas to make it guests more comfortable like water issues and instructions for reaching the property they have beautiful venues and courteous staff.

Makeup Artist: Gayatri Sharma
After seeing Gayatri’s work on WedMeGood and Instagram I was sure I wanted to go for her as her aesthetic was very close to what I wanted. Have a very natural look with glowing hair. She instantly made me comfortable and was actually fun getting ready with her.

Wedding Planning: Panodrama Events
There isn’t enough I can say about them. They helped us plan for over a year more like family rather than outsiders. Mallika and Tullika and their team truly managed everything so well that we could enjoy ourselves so much on the main days. They stood by us through it all, guided us and really understood what we wanted, and made sure it happened that way. We had booked A artist for our wedding day but just one day before our wedding that particular artist tested positive for COVID so they arranged Jasleen royal for us at a 4 hours notice. They truly make magic happen.

Photography: Dhanika Choksi
Dhanika and her team are so talented. Aditya and I are generally quite awkward in front of the camera but she made us so comfortable and we had so much fun during our shoots. She has a great eye for capturing moments and guides you on how to get better pictures too.

Decor: Dream Box Events
When it came to decor we want decor that would highlight the beautiful property and not overpower it. We wanted very classic decor that in our opinion is timeless, such as playing with a lot of lights, Marie gold, Rajnigandha, and beautiful fabrics. Dream box gave us just that.

Choreography: Lachak Choreographer
Working with them was a dream, they understood our vision and made the whole show amazing. They also helped Aditya plan a flash on which was incredible

Favour Hampers: The Dessert Studio, Absolutely Yushi
I’m a bride who made my own wedding invite treats. Being a baker I was sure that I wanted to make my own goodies, I curated a hamper with cookies, granola, biscotti, brownies, hand-rolled truffles, and more.
Absolutely Yushi helped us a lot with hangover kits, invite box production, stationery. Highly recommend working with them. They have understood our vision well and have amazing quality
