Meet Mridul and Varchas
Our story began in the corridors of our school, where we first crossed paths as eighth graders. It wasn't until we reached the tenth grade that our relationship took a romantic turn. Perhaps it was the onset of teenage years or the maturity that comes with it, but we started seeing each other in a new light. Despite choosing different paths for higher education, with Varchas studying engineering and I pursuing design, we maintained a strong long-distance relationship through college. It's a tale of youthful camaraderie blossoming into a deeper bond over time.

Our wedding took place on October 5, 2022. We chose Rishikesh for its spiritual ambiance and natural beauty. Taking charge of every detail, Varchas and I orchestrated a celebration that was deeply rooted in culture yet had a contemporary flair. We planned our wedding ourselves.
We opted for a color palette that blended with the natural hues of Rishikesh, with soft pastels and gold for touches of festivity. The use of local flowers and sustainable materials was a nod to our love for nature and commitment to eco-friendly practices.
Set against the serene backdrop of the Ganges and the lush foothills of the Himalayas, the ceremony was a picturesque and soulful affair. As we took the sacred pheras, an unexpected rain shower began, adding a magical touch to the moment. The rain, rather than causing disruption, seemed to bless our union, making the ceremony even more memorable.

Anmol played a pivotal role in making our wedding in Rishikesh a mesmerizing event. Anmol's skill in bringing our themes to life - pastels for the wedding, vibrant pinks and peaches for the haldi, and a traditional Rajasthani ghoomar for the sangeet - was nothing short of artistic brilliance. His ability to accommodate last-minute requests with ease was particularly impressive. Despite the unexpected rain on our wedding day, Anmol’s quick and efficient management ensured a flawless celebration. The feedback from our guests was overwhelmingly positive, praising the decor's beauty and creativity. My bridal lehenga from Frontier Raas was a dream come true. The craftsmanship blended traditional elegance with a modern touch. It fit perfectly, offering comfort throughout my wedding day.
Prints.ai Arjun, my best friend, designed a cape & multi-layered sharara outfit perfect for my haldi ceremony that left everyone, including myself, in awe. Inspired by nature, the outfit featured whimsical floral designs. Remarkably light and comfortable, it allowed me to enjoy the ceremony with ease. The most special aspect was the trust I placed in Arjun's skills, not having seen the outfit until the day of the ceremony. This blind faith was rewarded with a creation that perfectly reflected my personality. Forever grateful for the whole experience.

Varchas wore a pista green achkan style sherwani from Ethnix by Raymond with some exceptional threadwork done on it. It was a seamless experience throughout the whole selection and fitting.
