BY Sakshi | 19 May, 2022 | 1975 views | 6 min read

If you are a bride or a groom looking for some fabulous outfits for your upcoming wedding from some lesser-known designers or hidden gems, then this wedding here is the perfect inspiration! Jasnoor and Tarun had an elegant wedding in Delhi, but what really wowed us were their unique and offbeat outfits. Right from the bride's sharara for her mehendi to her beautiful bridal lehenga, to the groom's sage green chikan kurta to his embroidered tux, we loved how their outfits were so unique and different, and not from the big designer labels! The bride has given us all the deets on hers and the groom's outfits, so take notes!

Take a look at this stunning wedding, shot to perfection by The Emulsion★ 4 . The bride's beautiful minimal makeup by Makeup by Chandani Malik★ 5 was on point too!

Meet Jasnoor and Tarun

Tarun and I met via work. Though we never interacted during the project we both were working on. Soon afterwards the project ended, we added each other on Instagram, always reacted or liked each others stories and posts. Finally after few months, he asked me if I was attending an exhibition (FOAID) happening in Delhi. Since, it was related to our work we both thought met there, roam around the exhibition and followed it by a dinner at the Big Chill Cafe, Khan Market. This was our first date. and now after 2 years of dating we decided to tie the knot.

Anand Karaj

Wedding

From The Bride:

Our wedding happened on 15th and 16th Nov 2021, it was a simple intimate yet fun wedding. We had our close family and friends on most of our functions. We chose a venue with multiple venues as well as rooms for everyone to stay in. So it was mini-vacation for everyone. We kick started our wedding on Nov `14th with a pool-side Mehendi followed by an engagement at night. Next day was a haldi ceremony, followed by a Hindu Wedding in the evening. We decided to have early pheras, which certainly made everything easier and we could actually enjoy our wedding. Our theme was very traditional of Red and Gold. Lastly, we had a small Anand Karaj Ceremony in the morning with and Pastel theme.

Vendor Reviews

Venue: Satvik by Chhabra Farm

This venue is the perfect place for an intimate farmhouse wedding. It has a very large pool-side venue along with a small banquet hall. One big hall and large garden area with adequate parking along with 40 rooms. The owner was very cooperative and friendly. We booked the whole property for 3 days, which made it feel more homely and free.

Makeup Artist: Chandani A. Malik

She did my make-up for all four functions. She is exceptionally good with her hand and is very professional. She was very calm and friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. I always wanted to look like an elegant bride with a very natural and subtle look. She is one of the best makeup artists in town.

Photography: The Emulsions

We Met Harry (the main photographer) while we were searching for a wedding photographer and asked him that we want someone who will be more like family while capturing the wedding moments than just a regular photographer. He assured us that he will give his best. He certainly did not let us down. He captured every small detail from decor to the fun dancing moments to the little emotional ones. He was very professional and delivered the work within the commitment. The whole team worked together and did a wonderful task.

Decor: Design Decor Events

We had multiple meetings before the wedding regarding the decor selections - the colour combination, the props, the theme, etc. everything was well delivered with satisfaction.

Bridal Outfits

Mehendi : I wore a green sharara Cape set with mirrored work and embroidery from Zardozizari and it was well coordinated with groom's outfit.

Cocktail and Hindu Wedding :  We searched through the a lot of places and final found Delhi Six. The main designer Sachin Goel has been doing exceptional work. He made my Bridal Lehenga within one month which was the most difficult task. My cocktail outfit was a silver crop top and skirt with a lot of embellishment making it the best for the cocktail theme. On the other hand, I chose a red traditional lehenga with an Banarasi dupatta and tissue dupatta on head which had a tint of orange- Sachin personally styled the whole look.

Anand Karaj : This one was from Megha and Jigar, and was a last minute buy for us. Originally I had ordered for another outfit which got a bit goofed up and my wedding was just 3 days away. After searching through all the streets of Shahpur Jat, I saw the outfit on the mannequin and "This was it". The staff assured us that the alteration will be done within 2 days and make few changes according to me. The light handed work on the suit was very subtle and perfect for a morning Anand Karaj Bride. Megha and Jigar's outfit was a total saviour.

Groom Outfits

Mehendi : Tarun wore a green Kurta and pant with embroidery, same colour as the bride from @suitifybespoke.

Cocktail :  He wore a Tuxedo with silver work on the blazer which was certainly a cherry on the top by @kanishkmehtadesigns.

Wedding : A plain ivory sherwani with statement buttons and a printed stole by @lubin_official. It was to designed to be very sophisticated and simple at the same time as well as compliment the bride’s outfit .

Anand Karaj : This one was again from @kanishkmehtadesigns. It was a pink pastel theme Kurta and pajama with a wine velvet waistcoat with a turban. The outfit was the perfect dress for a simple Anand Karaj.
