What do we love about this wedding? Lets see- the three legged race the guests played, the ultra colorful decor at the Mehendiand ofcourse the vintage location. The cute desi decor, the sweet lehenga shots and the "bride" robe, all bundled into one sweet wedding by ColorBlast . That said, Samode Palace will always be our favourite, most beautiful place to have a wedding...sigh!

The WeddingFrom The Bride: "We wanted a real fun wedding(which seems like a myth almost) but we did make it happen. We wanted a very limited guest list including only close family and friends and that is the reason we chose Samode palace. The venue in itself is beyond amazing as it gives the most beautiful backdrop almost everywhere. We had Vintage Nutters as our wedding stylist , they were just so good. We did not for once feel that something was not happening right. The guests were divided in Samode Bagh and Samode Palace so it was a huge space for both side of families to have fun. We did do a lot of personalized goods at our wedding. All the bakery products that we had for our hampers were from The Bombakery, we had people going gaga over the cheese sticks and the cupcakes. For our wedding planners we had The Wedding Peeps and these guys are really good at what they do. All our events were on time and we not even for once in those 3 days we felt that there was anything missing. All this minute detailing is generally the bride’s idea but we had a twist in our story and the groom made it all happen with pretty much lot of sleepless nights. We had ColorBlast to capture our wedding. You have to see the pictures to believe that they are the best at what they do. We love the work that they have done and not even once we felt that something was missing from the wedding that has not been captured well. Kudos to these guys!" says Ritika. "For all the outfits I wanted it to be elegant yet light as I did not want to go crazy bearing the weight of these outfits. I have my own label so I made sure for the bigger events I made something which is light yet looks stunning. For the Mehendi I wanted something colourful and pastel and I had my heart set on this Divya Reddy piece. For the cocktail and the wedding I already had the outfits in my mind and that is the reason I made sure I get these made myself. For the country fete I wanted to look like a bride yet be able to jump around in the event so I chose Antaragni as his silhouettes are absolutely breezy and one could always use them again. For the wedding outfit the bride made sure that my outfit looks Indian so they got it all embroidered at Urmil by Ritika and Prerna and for silhouettes we just wanted Ujjwal to give his cuts as they are just fabulous," adds Ritika.
