Gorgeous Mumbai Wedding With The Bride & Groom In Perfectly Coordinated Outfits

BY Aakanksha | 06 Apr, 2020 | 1806 views | 4 min read

When we first saw Priyanka's look on Sabyasachi's official Instagram page, we were absolutely in awe! The traditional red lehenga, the OTT jewellery, and Priyanka's gorgeous smile - it was a flawless bridal look. However, Priyanka nailed not only her wedding look but each and every look of her wedding functions. To say she looked like a dream would be an understatement. Adding to the whole glam factor of the wedding was the stunning decor at each and every function. Recall Pictures★ 3.5 shot this entire wedding perfectly and the pictures are a beautiful proof!

Meet Priyanka & Ashish

Priyanka tells us how the two met, "Ashish and I have known each other since we were teenagers. He moved to Dubai but we remained friends through the years. At our common friends' wedding in Goa in 2016, we met and spent a lot of time together and it was then that something just clicked. I realised when I got home from the wedding that I was actually missing him. Later that year, I took a girls trip to Dubai with my friends, and it was there that Ashish hung out with us a lot and I got the impression that maybe he felt the same about me as I felt about him. He came back to Mumbai a few days after I got back from our Dubai trip and didn't leave till we had started officially dating. All our friends were routing for it to happen, and set up multiple situations. It was really cute, and we started dating in September 2016. Three years later, we tied the knot!"

The Parsi Bhonu Dinner

The Mehendi

The Sangeet

The Pheras & Wedding Party

From The Bride:

I knew I wanted the wedding to be meaningful and beautiful. I was in half a mind to get married on the beach where he proposed with just our parents and siblings, but we ended up having a 250 person wedding in Mumbai which is still very intimate for Indian wedding standards. My focus for the wedding was rustic decor, intimate seating and beautiful clothes!

Vendor Reviews:

Bridal Outfit: Sabyasachi
I had my outfits sorted for every function but the pheras. I definitely knew I wanted to change between the pheras and the after party. When I tried the red Sabyasachi lehenga, I knew it was the one. I love jewellery, and lots of it and my vision for myself as a bride was always OTT & extremist. Sabya shared the same vision and did the most incredible job putting the jewellery look together. The jewellery was definitely the hero of my phera look - just as I imagined it would be.

Photographer: Recall Pictures
Recall Pictures did my photographs, I loved them! They weren't in your face, did their thing, and my photos are exactly how I wanted them- candid and fun!

Makeup Artist: Tanvi Chemburkar
Tanvi Chemburkar did my make up! I have always loved her make up style, she does exactly what you need her to, and I trust her so much I was okay for her to do whatever she thought would suit the lehengas.
