Destination weddings in the time of Covid are no easy task. However, we are seeing coronial couples opt for it, as it is the best way to ensure minimum gathering and maximum fun. Prajeeta & Yuvaraj also went for the same. Theirs was a simple, minimalist wedding where not a single chance of having the best time of their life was missed. The planners & decorators, The Wedding Tantra ensured that the couple not only had a dream destination wedding but one that checked all their boxes, without compromising on elegance, beauty or safety.
Adding to the whole gorgeous vibe of the wedding were customised outfits that Prajeeta wore. From a beautiful pink lehenga for the wedding to some quite unique silhouttes she opted for the mehendi and haldi, Prajeeta wowed us with each look. And capturing it all was the ace team of The Picture Patch Photography , who ensured that the couple looked their best through the lens.
Meet Prajeeta & Yuvaraj
Prajeeta candidly pens down how she met her beau, and their poetic love story, "I recall how a chance encounter introduced me to Yuvaraj at a house party of my friend in Goa, after I came back from UK and how we spent the next 3 beautiful years knowing each other. At the first time, we just spoke for a while and ended up exchanging numbers. During my next visit to Goa, we made sure we met. What made me immensely happy was when Yuvaraj travelled all the way to Ahmedabad to just meet me and my family and I was sure this is a forever thing. After 3 years, we had our engagement ceremony in January 2020 and planned for our wedding in December 2020 in Goa only to know that it would be a coronial affair. But that did not stop us from having our dream wedding with the unique idea of venue, a blend of both Gujarati & Konkani culture, a sunset wedding and having the best vendors who helped us with everything."

We had ideas for our wedding in a way. For the mehendi, I wanted the event to be a vibrant and intimate at the same time, so we decided to go with colorful dreamcatchers, drapes and floral bunches. For the cocktail night we wanted a starry night jazzing to an acoustic session. Haldi ceremony was about yellow with hues of pink and I was awestruck to see the beautiful bridal swing decked up with gendas and pink carnations. My bridesmaids and groomsman surprised me with a lovely bridal shower in the evening with customised robes for all of us and ended up having a lovely photoshoot of the same. I always dreamt of having a relaxed wedding and it was exactly how I wished for.
The D-day was all about pastels and florals with charming boards about our love story. Our planner made sure to follow all the safety measures, by adding quirky boards and having pastel customised masks, and only closest family members and friends were invited to witness the happiest day of our lives. And it was really special to see our wedding featured on Goa Times (TOI) the next day.

I feel so happy to review the most amazing Wedding Planners. I can't fully express how enchanted, and enamored, and in awe we all still are with the decor for each day of the wedding festivities! Having them on board was one of the best decisions we made. Post my engagement when I came across their page, I was sure to have them on board. Got in touch with them for around 8 months prior and once the dates were finalized, we knew whom we wanted. After having a video conference with her , she really understood what we wanted , thereby came up with beautiful themes as per our liking . And Adithya took it upon herself to come up with the most unique venues and ideas in for us and making sure to listen to us so patiently. She and her team personally delved into our idea of the event , thus making this event a true dreamy experience. They made sure we were being heard , at every step of the planning despite of the pandemic situation and it just took just 3 months to make this a beautiful affair. She handled this whole event with a such a modern approach . We honestly could not have done this without them . We are still talking about it and so are our guests. She went through every detail with us and made sure we were all in sync. From natural fresh flowers and our favourite blush colors in an ombre color scheme, lovely giveaways and the most beautiful wooden floral mandap I have ever seen. Color coordinated to the T including our varmalas and family outfits. All our guests talked about their positive experience with TWT. No matter what the time of the day was , they were ready and willing to help . They really took a huge burden and stress away from our family so we could focus on our day and enjoy with our guests . Heartiest thanks to them for also helping us get the other talented vendors which added to the beauty.

We were keen on having a destination wedding. I was sure from the first place to provide a long period of stay for my guests and to give them a different vibe all together where the entire property would belong to us. We wanted to give our guests and family an elegant urban feel therefore we chose Sol De Goa for our intimate affairs , as in for our Mehendi , Haldi and Cocktail night. Created as a Goan heritage designed by Tarun Tahiliani , the hotel opens to a pool courtyard with a star-lit sky and a second emerald pool lined with swaying palms overlooking the paddy fields combining an elegant Goan - Portuguese design. And for the wedding, we decided to get married at Taj Holiday Village with the setting sun and endless sea in the background with array of delectable cuisines thereby creating wonderful memories .

Our planner got us in touch with Sukanya and when I had a word with her, she really understood every look that I wanted. As I wanted it simple, she kept each look distinct and just perfect and it matched every outfit of mine. Every look she created was different. She creates flawless looks customised to every individual bridal needs, tastes, and personality .She enhances the freshness and natural beauty of the skin. She is an incredible artist. She made me feel the most gorgeous I’ve ever felt . Thank you .

I was really particular about my outfits and wanted to customize all of them. For my Mehendi Ceremony, I went for a turquoise blue as to blend in with the breezy blue of the sea. And I wanted to bring out the inner “Bond Girl” look for my cocktail when Yuvaraj went for a Black tux to keep in with the theme. Special mention to Nautanky for curating my Mehendi & Cocktail Night outfits. And lovely collection of footwear for my outfits by Tinsel Toes. Haldi look by Alaya By Stage3 with that lime yellow fun and quirky drape saree along with a customised slider of the tag “BRIDE TO BE” to have a very comfortable outfit for the playful haldi ceremony. For Wedding attire, Shyamal and Bhumika were always on my mind . I visited the store to see the collection .The outfits were so amazing and designed . I was sure about the fuschia pink for my lehenga and the swatches came out exactly according to my personality and preference . When it was finally ready , it looked more prettier than I imagined! . The finishing and everything was based on my choice of customization moreover it was handcrafted . Thank you for making this day special.And for Preweddingshoot, I went for Masaba collection. Couldn't have been happier with the selection of my entire wedding trousseau.
