When a Former Miss South Asia & Miss India-California is getting engaged, you can expect the photos to be exemplary, and Gunjan's truly were! We loved her offbeat pick of a Papa Don't Preach jumpsuit, and the stunning backdrop of the LA skyline with skyscrapers in all their glory. The best part is, the couple managed to get their best photos after wrapping up their shoot for the day in a totally spur of the moment decision! The photoshoot by the talented Braja Mandala was edgy and fun, and an engagement shoot is a concept that we absolutely love.
Meet Gunjan and Herman
Gunjan tells us how they met and what has kept their relationship going strong even after 10 years, "We met 10 years ago at a mutual friends wedding, there was definitely a level of attraction and we kept in touch online, fast forward 5 years and my gf took me as her plus one to another reception where we bumped into each other again. This time he asked for my number and we’ve been inseparable since."
From The Bride
Our engagement photo shoot was done in DTLA; specifically in front of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Broad, along with the downtown skyscrapers. We wrapped up our engagement photo shoot and as we were walking back, this beautiful building lit up in front of us along with the water fixtures. We got our favorite shots in that moment.
We have our wedding coming up. I love a big fat traditional Punjabi wedding that’s still classy and elegant but stays true to its roots.
