BY Apoorva | 20 Dec, 2017 | 3423 views | 3 min read

Wedding shopping means weeks of roaming to search for perfect pieces for your wedding day and your bridal trousseau. But what is the use when you get similar stuff at Roopkala, Roopsangam and Roopsagar?! Unique wedding outfits often come from offbeat and unknown shops and we’ve got just the list for you!

Shreya says

“I love everything pastels and Amazish does just that! They do such light but stunning pieces that you can’t help but fall in love. They do stuff for guys as well so I picked up a few kurtas for by husband-to-be also. Created a mini-trousseau of sorts for him too!”

Pooja says

Shivam at Santacruz is your place to go for everything to do with material and laces. They have brocades, lace, paithani material – everything. And the prices are superb for the collection they have. My entire family got blouse materials and some even kurta materials from them for the wedding.”

Shagun says

“It has to be Meeta Verma Studio at Andheri! They create everything from scratch for you so you can get whatever you like done. They create a stunning lehenga out of a vintage sari of my mum for my mehendi and I was so happy with the craftsmanship!”

Devika says

“This was truly a surprising discovery! Neema Lath is a brilliant for wedding clothes. Right from your actual wedding outfits to your bridal trousseau, this studio has it all for you! The choice of colours and fabrics are so simple and elegant that they stand out in a crowd!”

Dhanashree says

“It’s not a bridal lehenga store but Beautiart makes the most awesome artificial jewellery! They even make customised pieces or even merge two pieces to make one. I love the collection over there and had almost everything made from there for my wedding. It’s a small store in the lane behind Sia at Santacruz West so it’s easy to miss but too good!”

Dhara says

Neharika at Bandra west. This is in the same lane as the famous Saroj Fabrics and you get similar stuff but for at least 20% less price. It’s a little dimly lit and messy so it doesn’t really catch the eye like Saroj and Glanz but trust me, I opted for this store for my fabrics during the wedding and it saved me a lot of money!”

Sharanya says

“I love everything that is non-massy! My wedding outfits were super quirky and my bridal trousseau had to be too. But I dint want to spend a bomb shopping for my trousseau so Vintage Almari was my pick. All the curated designers are so unique and fresh that I loved picking each and every outfit and I plan to go for more!”

Varsha says

The Label Ava at Santacruz!! The outfits are literally at steal-worthy prices. I love it because amidst all crazy and bridal-heavy stores in Santacruz, it holds its ground with its awesome collection. It’s relatively new so not a lot of people know about it but I can already see a line forming outside the store!”
