We're sure we splurge on weddings - lehengas, crazy favours and ideas. And once the wedding is over, you end up really wondering if that purchase was worth it after all? But some splurges are totally worth it - whether it's a pair of earrings with your favourite stone or a sweet gift your parents gave you on the day of the wedding. Here's what a few of our brides told us about their biggest value-for-money detail.

"Wedding or bridal jewellery is one of the most critical elements of wedding shopping and this absolutely holds true for me. It’s my day and I can’t afford to look like anything but like a million bucks. A diamond necklace & earring set studded with striking ruby gemstones has to be the most special wedding gift for me from my folks. My parents chose that for me as a part of my trousseau, the piece of art is worth every single penny. Also, I gifted myself the latest Baleno Nexa car for my wedding – a new addition in my family, my companion.
