Real Couples Reveal - The One Thing They Forgot To Pack (& You Shouldn’t) For Their Honeymoon!

BY Sakshi | 13 Feb, 2020 | 1564 views | 3 min read

So when you're doing your honeymoon packing, it can be easy to get distracted with outfits and accessories and forget to pack some important stuff which can come in very handy later. So we went ahead and asked some couples on what that one thing was which they forgot and regretted- so don't make the same mistake they made!

Some of them spill the beans on their experiences which they did not like!

Samaira says:

"It's a really small thing, but please research on the type of plugs the country you're heading to uses and carry an adaptor- we went mad trying to charge our phones with the laptop or the TV and eventually spent a lot buying an overpriced one because a lot of hotels and resorts don't really stock them."

Mana says:

"Please pack some basic medications with you when you go- they go by different brand names abroad, and sometimes the language barrier adds too much confusion. I got allergic to something we ate, and had hives all over my face- it was such a pain to source an anti-histamine, plus I couldn't have my photos taken for 2 whole days!"

Advita says:

"So I would really suggest everyone to carry some Indian food or snacks - like the MTR ready to eat ones or some dry ones. I mean, when the trip is long, we started to get food homesick and the Indian food we got at the restaurants was crap. I couldn't eat another pizza or burger, and just heating up that ready to eat dal was such an easy comfort fix!"

Manvi says:

"So we didn't carry our driver's license, and regretted it after reaching our destination, because we decided it would be easier to rent a self-drive car, but couldn't. So just carry it if the Indian Driver's License is valid there, 'cz you never know if you'll need it."

Poorvi says:

"So my husband and I thought we'd swipe the card everywhere, kept minimal cash with us, but OMG, I really regretted that decision when I went to a flea market where I wanted to go crazy, but couldn't. The ATM was a long walk away, and we had to pay a hefty exchange rate to withdraw. So do not forget to keep extra cash handy for roadside shopping and eating!"

Nidhi says:

"I know it might sound like something you don't wanna own or take, but do keep a selfie stick handy on your honeymoon. It was only the two of us, and after a point we got sick of requesting strangers or using the self timer- and all the selfies looked the same with barely any backdrop! So keep one handy  'cz when used properly, selfies are actually better with it especially on the honeymoon.
