Review Policies for Vendors

In the wedding industry, the only yardstick to measure the quality of services is by honest user reviews and WedMeGood prides itself in ensuring authentic and genuine reviews that can help engaged couples make better hiring decisions. As a platform committed to showcasing honest reviews, we request our vendors to abide by the following guidelines.
1. Positive reviews: You are most welcome to ask your clients to review your Profile on WedMeGood. You could share your profile link with them & ask them to write a review, or, you could simply ask them to share their review & rating with us on info@wedmegood.com & we will get the review uploaded on their behalf.
2. Soliciting Reviews: The best way to get positive reviews is by delighting your clients. Selective solicitation is a strict NO. Offering any type of compensation, getting your family/relatives/team members to write a review for you is completely unacceptable & such reviews would be removed without any intimation.

3. Handling Negative reviews: Even if you have the sweetest, juiciest peach, you will find someone who doesn't like peaches! Whether you agree with the feedback or not, take the criticism in good stride. In such cases, we strongly suggest you reply to the review with your side of the story as it shows that you care. From our statistics, we have seen that users read both sides of the story and take an impartial call while reading reviews. Moreover, some of the most popular and booked vendors on WedMeGood have also received negative reviews on their profiles so you don't need to worry.  Also, another way to mitigate the impact would be to get more positive reviews on your profile so that the negative review is pushed down & your average rating is improved.
4. Disputed Reviews: In case there is a review on your profile by someone you've not had an experience with, you could flag this to us. We do have checks such as IP filters, verified email id etc to ensure a primary verification for any review. To further validate, we would reach out to the user to confirm their review. We take between 4-7 working days to handle disputed cases. Also note, a vendor can only dispute a review within a span of 1.5 years from since the review has been posted. We believe this is ample time for disputing reviews, and beyond the scope of a year it becomes impossible for a neutral platform to do the necessary groundwork to handle dispute cases.
5. Reviews where services were not hired: In some cases, customers might write a review for you based on some interaction even though your services were not hired. If such reviews are disputed but the user is able to furnish a proof of the interaction, we would allow the review to stay.
6. Reviews In case of cancellations: In a case where the vendor has cancelled a booking after taking an advance, the user is entitled to share a review, irrespective of the reason for cancellation.
7. Deleting your WedMeGood Profile: We'd be sad if you decide to do this based on a negative review as that does more harm to you than good.  If you do still request the same, your profile will become an unclaimed profile like Sartaj Invites Ludhiana ★ 2.8 . It can just have a profile pic and your contact details -however, the reviews left on your profile would still be visible as they were put up by our readers and remain to be our copyright. It is for these reasons we reccomend you don't ask for a deletion because while profile content can be deleted, reviews on the profile cannot.
8. Data Confidentiality: While we do understand that in cases of negative reviews, the vendors aim at finding a middle ground to settle the dispute at their end. However, please note that the any verification proof shared by the reviewer to verify the claims would not be shared with the vendor. Total confidentiality of the reviewer's details and evidences would be maintained, unless the consent for the same has been provided by the reviewer.
9. Change of review by the user:
Incase of a change in review by a user, we will need the user to directly confirm the change with the wedmegood team by the same email id as the review is from, for us to make a change.

WedMeGood reserves the right to remove or edit a review or vendor response at any time as we deem fit. The reviews posted on WedMeGood are highly subjective opinions. We do not endorse any of the opinions expressed by reviewers or vendors. 

In accordance with our Privacy Policy, WedMeGood does not release any reviewer's personal contact information.
