Sweet Fauji Wedding With A Hands On Bride!

Now what we have here is a wedding that had a super hands on bride! Not only did Taanya design her own Haldi outfit, but we loved all the other bridal looks she put together too. Not just that, when she did not like her bridal makeup, she took it all off and redid it all by herself! Taanya and Avinav's Secundarabad wedding was a Hindu-Sikh one, and these highschool sweethearts really pulled off a beautiful union together. From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on November 27, 2022. I am a Sikh and my husband is a Hindu Brahmin. We've dated for 8 years and had always dreamt about this. We wanted to make sure we followed both customs and had Anand Karaj in the morning and Vedic Phere in the evening. We wanted a intimate wedding surrounded with people we love. Our entire wedding was like a dream.
I had travelled from Hyderabad to Delhi for my wedding shopping. My husband being from the forces had to do a very last minute shopping spree with whatever little time he got. I had booked a makeup artist who did a horrible job. So I had to clean my entire make up and do it by myself. I'm my own makeup artist. I also designed my own Haldi outfit and got it stitched, during the ceremony a traditional Punjabi Baagh was held over my head which was hand woven by my mother's dadi.

They have an incredible collection, along with your bridal wear, you'll come out with a few extra clothes. You can't resist yourself. Along with this outfit I had worn a chunni that was gifted to my mother by my dadi. I really wanted my grandmother to see the event and since she passed, I wanted to include her by wearing that chunni.

Their mirror work is beautiful. Very detailed and neat. The fitting is also great. A very happy and satisfied experience with them.
Anand Karaj: Sudhir Bhai Saree Wala
You can never see all the lehengas they have. Their variety is vast and cater to any price range. You'll end up spending an entire day there. They also customise your lehenga.
Vedic Phere & Reception: Banarasi Baithak, Gurgaon
I have never seen finer quality of cloth. Pure silk, rich looking but very light in weight. The have the best designs and the best quality. One can blindly trust them with quality. I'll definitely keep buying from them in the future. One trip to their place and you'll come back with so much knowledge. They make sure we know how to identify good quality and learn about weaves. When you visit them, it's not just shopping but it's a whole new experience.

I've always looked for a jewellery that suited my taste and was lucky enough to come across Shri Paramani Jewels, Khan Market, Delhi. They have the best designs. One just can't be disappointed with their work. They're open to customisations and also courier the jewellery to you. They also have pop up stalls in various cities every now and then. Would highly recommend to check them out. All my jewellery was from them and am glad that it was from them.
