So that's why we decided to ask our friends over at the Vogue Wedding Show to give us update from the designers showcasing there. From Sabyasachi to Tarun, - these designers know just what makes the perfect lehenga, so here we go!
"Buoyancy, lightness, finesse and froth match the mood of today’s new generation Indians who prefer comfort and fit over heavy, cumbersome old school bridal and occasion wear. Panelled veils, jackets and lehengas in beige on beige on Basra, Basra creams in french knots, tiny pearls and more are what I see this season. Wedding wear is all about individual taste but in recent years there has been a tilt towards lighter and more structured styles. The building blocks of every bridal trousseau is very personal.
