From classmates to soulmates, this couple here has been together for 11 long years! Mehek and Bharat had their dream wedding in Gurgaon, which was a celebration of their love and togetherness. Their wedding functions had 3 different venues and we loved the bride's style- she searched high and low for her outfits, and knew just when she had them! Our Love Story started years ago when we met each other in a classroom in 11th standard. We both were in DPS Mathura Road and after 11 years of being together our date was finally set to the 24th of December'22.

From The Bride:
I live in a joint family and was the first one to get married. The craziness of the 1st wedding of the Arora house, and how excited Punjabis are always, it was an extravagant affair with over 500 guest at our wedding. However always being a hard core Sharukh Khan fan I had always wanted cute and romantic things which I tried to incorporate in every small details. The wedding was grand and luxurious but at the same time with a personal touch of our 11 years of togetherness.

Makeup Artists:
I had booked SP Eastland for my wedding and sagan and Chinar Khatri for my Mehendi Ceremony. SP is one the best makeup artist. You are already so tensed about every small detail that all you want is the other person to be just perfect and trust me SP was just the person. She made sure I was at my best comfort, was so understanding in every small detail and did the magic on me like wonders. Both the days she gave me different and yet such perfect look that I can't thank her enough. Her makeup is so natural and she enhances your features so well. It was really the best decision to book SP for my Sagan and D- Day.
Chinar Khatri is such a sweet and genuine Makeup Artist. I had never seen her makeup in person but came across her profile on Instagram. Her work was commendable and she did a fab job for my Mehendi look. Both of them are perfect in their own ways and gave me a different look on all the three days.
Bridal Outfits:
My sagan outfit was from Falguni and Shane Peacock. When I was searching for my Sagan outfit I was confused if I should go for a more traditional look or a modern touch since I had both my sagan and ring ceremony along with the dance performances. When I came across this outfit at the FSP's emporio store it was like love at first sight. The pink and silver combination of this outfit really stood out. It was a modern and stylish outfit and to give a bit of traditional touch I decided to go with a maang Tikka. Also I wanted to wear something light weight because of the dance performances and it was quite light in comparison to how extravagant this outfit looks. The whole process was just magical shopping from FSP from the selection of outfits to the trials to the final delivery of the Lehenga. For my Mehendi, I wanted to wear something fun, colorful and definitely not a Lehenga.
With 2 lehengas already in line I was sure I wanted a Sharara. I had come across the designer Mayyur Girotra while I was shopping for my Trousseau and at that time I knew the kind of outfit I wanted for Mehendi would be from Mayyur Girotra. A few months before the wedding they had recently launched their new collection Zamani. Heena who is the director at Mayyur Girotra showed me this sharara from their Zamani collection. This was the first outfit I tried and within a matter of 5 mins we had finalized this outfit. It was the best decision and the outfit turned to be so easy going, chic and at the same time really stood out for me as a bride.
For my wedding outfit I had gone to every designer possible. The first milestone was to chose a color. I honestly wanted to wear a pastel or pink Lehenga for my wedding. But being a winter wedding and in the evening, my family members suggested that a bright color would be better as it would stand out from the crowd. And since my Sagan lehenga was comparatively lighter in color it made more sense to choose a bright and different color for my D-Day. Then I was sure if it has to be a bright colored Lehenga or anything red then there is nothing better than a Red Sabyasachi Bride. The Lehenga I wore was also from the Bridal Heritage collection 2022 which also had recently launched. I really loved the intricacy of the Lehenga along with the Dupatta whose design really stood out. Valery from the Sabyasachi Mehrauli store was the one who assisted me from the start. I was in love with my look when I first tried it at the store and red color really suited me. I was happy to be a Sabyasachi Bride and this memory I will cherish forever.
