Apart from being a brilliant make up artist, Aakriti is a wonderful person! She did a fabulous job with my makeup and made sure I felt comfortable with the look while not once imposing her view or suggestions too strongly. I got married in Feb 2020 and Aakriti did all the events for me - from roka to reception! She was an absolute delight to work with. Not only is she super patient and understanding, but also has a great eye for what will work at which event. For a makeup noob like me, this was an absolute lifesaver. We all felt like fairytale princesses with pretty makeup by Aakriti & Tanvi Kocchar along with different hair do?s ? I specially loved my loose fishtail braid along with the unique earrings that got attached to the hair.

I am not sure if words can truly express how great I think Aakriti is. She exceeded my expectations in every possible way. From our first meeting, I felt so comfortable with her and I just knew she would be amazing. I decided to book her and I have to say it was the best decision I had made. One of my friend's had gotten her makeup done for her wedding from Aakriti. It was a day wedding and my friend looked spectacular, with what Aakriti had done for her. I decided to meet Aakriti and was welcomed with a great combination of warmth and professionalism. She understood my apprehension about getting the base right and did a wonderful job even during the trial that she offered. My fears were put at rest and I was assured of being in good hands for probably one of the most important things for my wedding. And she did weave magic with what she did for me on the D-day. She did an absolutely amazing job of making me feel as beautiful as I could have hoped to be for my wedding! Her hairdresser was great as well. She is the best!! When I first saw her work I liked her but when I met her I knew I wanted her for my wedding. She was one of the most accommodating and humble to work with during my wedding. As a bride I wanted some one who not only makes u look pretty but also make u feel beautiful. She makes u look naturally beautiful instead of Layering your face with makeup. Honestly, i rarely wear makeup. Maybe if i go out i will put on some Kajal and Lip balm but that's the extent of it. So when i was getting married i was so nervous to find a make-up artist i liked. I was really nervous about looking not good on my wedding day until i met this beautiful lady who has magic in her hands, Aakriti. I had seen her portfolio and i loved how her makeup looked so natural while still providing that bit of glam every bride is looking for. Upon our first consultation, i let her know what i envisioned and she did exactly what i asked. She is so professional and yet so personable, attentive and the way you listen to what your clients want is priceless. I am so glad that you recommended me to wear false eyelashes because it really complimented my whole face. My eyes popped as you said it would and so many people told me that my makeup was beautifully done. The make up was light, subtle and turned out beautifully in the pictures. You made me look like a princess on my D-day. As far as the quality of the products are concerned, trust me Ladies she has provided me with the best makeup I could have asked for. <p>For makeup, I wanted really subtle eyes and didn't want to look like a caked up doll. And so I went for Akriti Kochhar. She's the kind of person a bride would want to be with because she listens! She wouldn't do a thing against your wish or whatever you're not comfortable with. Hats off to her!</p>

I went for a trial with her. After the trial, I had a few basic questions like the brands she uses and whether there is going to be any difference between the wedding and trial make-up. To my surprise, she reacted saying that I had no clue about make-up and flatly refused to take my booking. That's 5K down the drain for me, but at least a wedding disaster averted.

Mumbai was a breeze since I knew so many people here to guide me on make up, clothes etc. But, I have a very restricted circle in Delhi. Since Aakriti and I were in different cities and a trial was not possible, she emailed me loads of references for eyes &amp; hair styles, just to get an idea of my likes and dislikes. On the day of the reception, she and her team turned up bang on time and she worked her charm. She even ensured she did my hair in a couple of styles and let me choose the one I felt most comfortable in. Her make up was just perfect (natural &amp; fresh) and you know that for sure when even a few days after your wedding people continue to pour in compliments. Aakriti was fairly chilled and made me feel at ease. A young and energetic girl I had fun chatting with her about Delhi, the night life there and lots of other interesting stuff. If I had to do it all again, I know irrespective of whether I would change anything else, Aakriti would still remain the person I would turn to for my make up. A wedding is a special day and if you can look like a dream then every thing is worth it.</p>

<p>My sister booked Aakriti Kochar for her special day, for her bridal makeup and also for my and mom&rsquo;s makeup. She was supposed to reach by 4 pm, as the time of the baraat was 7 pm (and it was sharp, as informed to her in advance). Her hairdresser and draping lady came on time, but she didn&rsquo;t turn up at all. She kept saying on the phone that she is 5 mins away for almost 2 hours, when finally at 6 p.m., we desperately started calling a few nearby parlors and decided to rush my sister to a nearby Ambika Pillai salon who thankfully agreed to help us at the last minute. Me and my mom decided to go without makeup, as the baraat was about to arrive. She is responsible for this last minute panick that she created on such an important day of my sister&rsquo;s life. And on top of it, forget about apologising, she wanted us to pay for &ldquo;cancellation charge&rdquo;. I was shocked to hear how blatant she was, having charged us the booking amount at the time of booking, she should in fact be refunding that amount. Apart from lying all the while that she is 5 minutes away, she even wanted us to pay her extra. This is heights of unprofessionalism. Even her hairdresser said, I pray this doesn&rsquo;t happen with anyone else on her wedding day.</p>
