I had a very bad experience with Afterlife Events. The person we were coordinating with, Raunak, initially talked very nicely due to which I decided to do the event with them. However, closer to the functions he started backing out on most things and started asking for more money. He also threatened us to give a substandard quality if we didn’t agree to pay him more saying there is no budget left. Additionally, the quality of decor was really mediocre compared to what they charged (>5L) and is mostly done with artificial flowers. More than half the photos posted here are fake and from Pinterest, and they were unable to replicate the decor we chose from the album they had themselves shared. In the middle of the event, he is stopping me and asking to arrange additional rooms if we want to have the DJ play till late, even though it was aligned beforehand. On showing hesitation and telling him to figure out alternatives, he took it personally. To top it all, he then twisted this conversation and spoke pretty disrespectfully to my dad to get back at him. I am really disappointed with the experience and truly feel that all the reviews here are fake and paid. None of them even has the guy’s name mentioned or any credibility established. Please beware before choosing them and if you still do after reading this review, make sure to record all conversations and document them, and keep your patience really high to deal with this. Have also received “bad luck wishes for life” by the kind founder :) please think before choosing them
