This one had been long pending. I would like to take this opportunity to write down the truth about Ananya and her service. Pre-D day consulting - being someone who hardly cares about make-ups i was very confused about the wedding day look. All i knew i wanted a simple yet elegant look. Ananya helped me figure out the package that would best suit my skin type according to the season of my wedding - Mac Pro is what i had zeroed down to. I used to constantly be in touch with her about buying suitable accessories for the day and she patiently guided me through everything. About the service - Ananya had mentioned Mac Pro (with airbrush) would last for about 12 hours, but trust me (and i am not kidding) the make-up lasted for 25 hours to be precise (even after all the crying during vidaai followed by a 4 hours train journey). The make-up felt very light which is a brownie point as one would not want an extra baggage of makeup along with the weight of wedding dress and jewellery. The draping of saree and hairstyling simply complemented the look and I was comfortable enough to even run around in the saree. About Ananya - She is professional, yet friendly - a very rare combination. She is punctual and a perfectionist to the T. She single handedly managed to get me ready in less than 2 hours. And her friendly chatters didnt allow me to have the wedding jitters at all. A big thumbs up to her for that. To sum it up, her magical work WOWed everyone who had known me before :P.
