Despite good make up, Tama created a huge misunderstanding between me and my in-laws. No one should hire her for weddings as it will lead to family problems. Firstly, she has no trust in her customers and harassed me to make payment at the end moment while I was being rushed for the event. Since there was no internet connection in my phone, I told her I will make payment first thing the next morning. I even stuck to my word and texted her early next morning. But she informed me that she has already taken money from my in-laws the previous night. She did so by badgering them throughout the event for payment. Secondly, she will quote one price during booking and charge much much much higher at the time of payment. And she informs the amount at the end moment and insists for immediate payment, so you don’t have time to negotiate because your event would have started. Really really disappointing behaviour.

Only thing is in sangeet my Mermaid hair style started to come off because I was dancing with twirls. So by the end of the night my natural hair was sticking out in all directions and since I sweat a lot my makeup started to come off a little towards the end of the night. I got overall 10 make ups done by Taama for my big fat south indian wedding. 5 for myself and 5 for my mom. I must say that I was never disappointed with any of her work even for a minute. I discovered Tamashree on wedmegood as one of the top rated makeup artists in Bangalore. Very frankly, I was looking for someone who could do an authentic Bengali makeup, saree draping and especially understand the nitty gritty of the finer details that go along with being a Bengali bride. When I spoke to Tamshree for the first time over phone, I was certain she was going to try and sell me all the fancy techniques and how essential they would be to complete my final bridal look. But no! she pleasantly surprised me! She explained about how she goes about with her makeup. The pros and cons on the different makeup styles available and what her honest opinion on each of these were. I knew right then that she is not someone who is trying to overcharge her client by coaxing them to buy the most premium of services, but rather the one that best suits the situation. I met Tamashree in person a month before my wedding, so she would have an idea on the muse she needs to work on. She was very enthusiastic and did a thorough study of all my wedding accessories to craft the perfect look for me. I even threw some unexpected surprises at her a week before the wedding and she still efficiently took care of the bridal tantrums and delivered on point. Coming to the D Day. As a person, she is an extremely sweet soul and is very patient with her clients and tends to their makeup needs. Also, she is quick with her work. First look was for reception which was in the evening, Tama came right on time as per schedule and started with make up and frankly telling at start I was worried will she pull this off as per my expectations, however once make up was done i went crazy and post hairstyle I couldn't believe my eyes, make up and hairstyle complimented each other all the ladies in my room were praising her for the work.
