Dhanya is an amazing makeup artist and so so competent and prompt. She styled me for 3 events for my wedding and styled my husband for the reception as well! She made us both so comfortable and gave us exactly the look we were hoping for. Because of the pandemic we couldn’t do a trial, but we talked through what I was hoping for multiple times before the event and I was so happy with the end result. I always wanted to look like myself at the wedding - and Dhanya fully nailed it! She has a great team as well - she had brought an assistant to help with my mom’s makeup - and my mom loved her subtle final look! My 2 saris and lehenga were also draped beautifully by Alisha and they stayed in place all throughout the events despite having to move around a lot. Someone really close to me suggested Dhanya! And I am so glad she did. Dhanya is not only a wonderful makeup artist but also a beautiful human being! My wedding was supposed to happen in June 2020 but it got pushed to November 2020 cause of Covid-19. Unlike any other vendors, Dhanya made sure that she did not give my dates to anyone else as she had committed to me. I am the kind of a person who likes to look myself even after makeup. She made sure of that, and how beautifully. She did my makeup for sangeet and wedding and I was so so so satisfied with the makeup and just so stress-free. Not only was she quick, but so thorough. She was taking pictures to see how the makeup looked under light and on camera. While I was stressing about getting late, because of her the bride was ready and waiting for the groom. Dhanya is a phenomenal makeup artist and I highly recommend her. She is extremely professional and makes you feel at ease. I did not do a trial with her as I trusted that should be able to execute what I had in mind and she most definitely did and more. She accentuated my features, made me look natural with a certain glow and was far from the 'heavy and cakey' makeup look. My makeup was absolutely flawless at the end of 12 hour long day including a long night of dancing and didn't feel the need for a touch up. I couldn't have been happier with my look!

since im not from bangalore I was clueless with respect to bridal make-up artists & hairstylist in the city. I asked around, and a very senior make-up artist in Bangalore recommended Dhanya to me, I got in touch with her and we discussed a few looks over the phone, she shared some of her previous work with me and I loved all of it. From our very first conversation I felt super comfortable and confident having chosen her even without having done a trial. I flew to bangalore a few months later and did just one trial, the whole experience was so much fun, she made me feel at ease and understood exactly what I wanted. I was very nervous about wearing a lot of makeup, I disliked having foundation on my face, and wasn't used to having my entire face done professionally, but she stuck to the brief, and made sure I still looked like myself on my wedding day. Shes one of the easiest artists to work with, and if you allow her to take over without much interference, she'll do her best job!

I had 3 trials with different makeup artists, Dhanya was the last I I confirmed her immediately after she finished my trial, best decision ever and I could not have been happier! She understood who I was as a person and what I wanted for my special day and executed that far beyond I could have imagined!! Could not believe how I looked even though it felt like I wasn't wearing any make-up at all, her base and blending skills are on point! On the day of the wedding she was on time and very calm and composed right through ever with all the madness around the house. How careful she was with everything and the number of times she cleaned and sanitised her brushes, products [which are too die for] and hands surprised me. Dhanya was one of the easiest decisions that I made as a bride-to-be. We have worked together for a few years now, and didn’t have to give it any thought before I booked her for the D-day. The two things your makeup artist must have on your special day is finesse and patience. She personifies both! We had a trial about a month prior, and she was kind enough spend almost half a day, to try two looks on me. (Both turned out to be A-one, of course!) And as for how I looked on my big day - the pictures speak for themselves. Forever grateful to her for her restraint and impeccable skills. :) So, do I recommend her to every bride on the cards?
