I just have to vent about my makeup experience with Sonam on my wedding day. It was such a nightmare! The makeup didn’t even look bridal, despite the hefty amount that I paid. The same hairstyle was done for all three events, There was zero attention to detail and when I tried to give her feedback, she literally said, “call someone else for the makeup.” On my wedding day!! She had such ego issues that cannot be even explained. I wouldn’t recommend her to any bride-to-be. Brides do not deserve to go through such experiences during their D day. Just needed to share!

I am so glad I asked for that because Sonam and Poonam were amazing! We went back and forth on make-up and hair inspiration for weeks before the wedding. I was looking for minimalistic wedding make-up that would be easy to switch from day to night and Sonam delivered! She was very thoughtful and conscious about my concerns of not looking too pale or unlike myself. And, my hairstyles were perfect and stayed in place for hours. She did four events for me and it was the most peaceful and relaxing part of the wedding. I initially didn't want to spend hours in the make-up and hair chair but really appreciated the time by myself between events because of how peaceful Sonam made the environment. I don’t think anyone in the year 2020 would deny the impact of COVID on all of us. Unfortunately, my engagement date was postponed because of the same. After discussing with Sonam she informed me that she would be traveling back from Delhi on the new date. Considering that we aren’t even inviting outstation people for the function I had to cancel Sonam. Now I’m sure she has her own rules that need to be followed but I’m also sure there is a way to talk to a person considering the situation. When I told her to refund a certain amount because the reason is not personal and out of our control. She said ‘ye aapa headache hai’ amongst other things in her foul and disrespectful tone and disconnected the call. Hasn’t picked up my call after that. I could easily throw dirt at her work but I think it’s more important for you to know that she has a very bad behaviour towards clients.
