While the final makeup look turned out to be subtle and beautiful – just the way I had envisioned – unfortunately, my overall experience was not as pleasant due to several behavioral concerns that really stood out. To begin with, I want to acknowledge her skill in creating a natural and elegant look. The makeup was soft, well-blended, and photographed beautifully. It complemented my features and outfit perfectly, and for that, I genuinely appreciated her artistry. However, makeup is only one part of the overall experience when hiring a professional for a special occasion, especially something as emotional and significant as a wedding. I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience her, especially considering it was for one of the most important days of my life – my wedding. I had high expectations after hearing a few good things, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. She was constantly asking for extra money for every small thing, including her driver’s food expenses, which I found extremely unprofessional and unexpected. When you're already paying a premium price for bridal makeup and booking a 5-star hotel room for her stay, such petty charges just come across as greedy and disrespectful. She showed zero involvement or willingness to help with accessories. I expected at least some support or guidance with bridal jewelry and setup, but she didn’t assist at all. In fact, when my best friend politely asked her to help fix her maang paasa, she bluntly responded that she didn’t know how to do it. That was honestly shocking coming from a so-called “professional.” Despite promising an hour-long prep session for my bridal look, she rushed through the entire process in barely 5 minutes. It didn’t feel like a bridal transformation at all—it felt like a basic touch-up. Moreover, her assistants were poorly trained and didn’t even know how to pin the dupatta properly. As a result, my dupatta kept falling throughout the event, causing a lot of discomfort and stress. She completed my bridal makeup in just 50 minutes and left in a hurry without checking if I needed any touch-ups or help. What’s worse is that I had booked and paid for her room in a 5-star hotel for two days—so she had absolutely no reason to rush or leave early. It just showed her lack of professionalism and care. Her behavior throughout was rude and dismissive, and the makeup itself was just average at best. For the money and trust I invested in her, I honestly expected so much more. In short, while I cannot fault her talent with brushes, I do wish her behavior had matched the quality of her work. A little more kindness, patience, and professionalism would have made a huge difference. I hope she takes this as constructive feedback and works on offering a more client-friendly experience in the future.

It was great experience, everyone loved the makeup. Geetu was patient, listened to every feedback i shared and did everything to bring my vision to life.

Loved the make up. Geet ma'am is truly an artist. I have lots of pigmentation and she did a really great job in hiding them all. Hair stylist and staffs were also very nice and cooperative.

I had a truly awful experience with Geetz Makeup Artistry. The makeup was terrible; it didn’t stay in place and kept melting down throughout the day. To make matters worse, the artist was uncooperative and unprofessional, arriving late and repeating the same issues for every function. She even charged extra for transportation, which added to the disappointment. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I would not recommend her services

Amazing work! She did mine and my mother's make-up and hair for my brother's wedding, and our experience was outstanding. She first planned the look with us, and patiently took our inputs into account. Unlike most MUAs, she sought our opinion at every stage. Even at the time of taking the booking, she enquired about skin-type and hair type. Loved the looks she created for us (PS she did not make us lighter, unrecognizable versions of ourselves. The look absolutely matched our liking, age, occasion and, was still absolutely on trend!). And the make -up and hair stayed as is for 10-12 hours. The base stayed throughout the wedding and was well blended but overall look wasn't pretty. My hair didn't stay in place. I wasn't feeling pretty. She did the makeup the way she wanted ignoring my needs. In addition she was a little rude too. Whole experience was ok ok.

I booked Geetz a month in advance after talking to a couple of other artists. Her rate list was transparent, and she'd shared it before we got on a call, after it fit my budget. Something which distinguished her was on call, very down to earth, asked me to get HD look as I was looking for subtle makeup only. Also asked me about my skin, if it's oily or has pimples and suggested things accordingly. I have a big forehead, and wanted a hairstyle which would suit my face. She also suggested the style based on my outfits (I wanted to change into another outfit in between, retaining hair and makeup) including the flowers. Her hair stylist was also really good, crimped a lit to give volume, but kept it very natural. My mom and my sister also got light makeup and hair, and the outcome was nice. It took about 3 hours for the entire hair and makeup.

I first saw Geetu’s work at my friend’s wedding. I instantly liked her style. Hence, when it was time for my wedding, I knew I wanted to work with her only. She is warm, receptive and a super accommodating make up artist. Her focus on keeping the look natural comes out really well, I loved the way she did my eyes. And best of all, she did not use a lot of hair product and hair spray while styling. Would totally recommend her.

Idk where do i even start. Geetu has done an extremely amazing job, a lot more than what i had expected. This was my first time getting a professional makeup done and my paranoia was at peak, however Geetu helped me calm down and assured me a great look. And guess what, i was never happier to look at myself in the mirror. The eye makeup especially was on point and made a huge difference. Besides being a great makeup artist, she’s also an amazing human and positive energy to be around. I’d really recommend Geetu to all my references in future.

I got makeup done for my wedding, but my experience was really bad. Geetu had promised really big things about helping me with the jewellery, moisturizing, and a nice makeup test day, but none of these were real. She did not use any toners, moisturizers and did not prep my skin which resulted in caky look. The makeup brushes and the applicators she used were very dirty. I got several pimples after my wedding day. On the test day she did not show me any foundations, concealers that she would use. Also her behavior on the wedding day was awful. My mom was struggling with her saree and we politely asked if she could help us but she refused very coldly. She also booked her cab and asked me to pay in cash before I was ready and left even before I was ready :( If you still go with her, I will advice you to talk to her about the price thoroughly since there a lot of hidden charges. She charged 1000rs for her cab ride. Overall very disappointing work and bad behavior. I wish I had done more research before finalizing her.
