🚨 “She Took Advance, Gave Zero Commitment, and Ditched Us Before Our Wedding!” 🚨 ❌ Worst Experience with [namrata jabba] – Please Read Before Booking! We hired [glam by namrata] for my wife’s engagement and wedding makeup. We trusted her, paid her advance, and this is what we got in return: ⸻ ⚠️ 1. Took Advance, Gave No Trial Despite paying in advance, she never met my wife for a trial or discussed the look properly. She kept delaying and making excuses until the last moment. ⸻ ⏰ 2. Delayed Us by Over 2 Hours on Engagement Day We clearly told her the timing we needed to be ready, but she and her team were late and careless. We reached our own engagement function LATE, completely stressed out. ⸻ 3. Makeup Was Incomplete and Poor Quality Even after taking full charges, the makeup was rushed, patchy, and unfinished. It didn’t look like professional work at all. My wife felt extremely disappointed on what should’ve been a happy moment. ⸻ ❗ 4. SHOCKING: She Cancelled 2 Days Before the Wedding After all this, she had the audacity to tell us—just 2 days before the wedding—that she wouldn’t be coming and we should “find someone else.” This is after taking money and giving no trial. ⸻ 🚫 Highly Irresponsible. Zero Professionalism. No Apology.

Worst experience with her.Very non cooperative.Her team doesn't know how to drape saree also or keep hairdo intact till the function. she comes late as well. Also she argued on makeup many times with my family members. She doesn't keep her promises.Also her location is Wadala and not Matunga as what is mentioned here.No trial was given.

This review is not for bad mouthing. This is how I felt. I felt betrayed on my special day by her. I had a very bad experience with the make up artist. 1) did no skin prep, hence my make up cracked within 2 hrs. This has never happened before with any other artist I worked. My wedding make up stayed intact for 12 hrs, done by another fab artist. 2) lied about the charges initially and asked us to pay more later 2) came 2.5 hrs late for the event (hence no make up prep) and I missed my sundowner pictures of my important day because of her 3) not available on calls/messages once you book her 4) only focused on taking videos and shots for her insta page She mentioned to my mother that her charges are 20-25k and for my mom she mentioned around 6-7k, she added that she would give us a trial. I asked her about what products she uses, and she mentioned it’s all branded and good products, which I found as a very vague answer. However, during when the days got near to my engagement, it was difficult to get hold of her to get a trial, however we did connect for the same, but the trial was more discussions based. She mentioned the charges are 35000 INR and increased the same for my mom. She asked to pay extra 15000 INR for hair extensions (total cost for me getting to 50000 INR) which she hadn’t mentioned earlier, thank God they were refundable, which she sent me after 4 days of delay. She took 4000 INR for travel 18kms and came 2.5 hrs late. Because of her I missed my engagement sundowner pictures. She was in such a hurry, called me out for not drying my hair prior, did not prep my skin at all, make up cracked. The thing is money can be earned, but she spoilt my day. She got me ready in an hour, she came the time I had to leave for my pictures. She was super late, did not attend my calls. We needed their Aadhaar cards for entry, till the end I was asking it for her and her team. She never shared everyone’s and it was a big trouble. She was all the time busy taking shots for her insta page and was rude to the staff too. I wouldn’t recommend her. I am glad I did not book her for my wedding.

EVERYONE LOVED MY MAKE UP AND GOT SO MANY COMPLIMENTS. SHE WAS TOTALLY WORTH . COMPLETE HYGEINE SHE TAKES CARE ALL BRANDS AND COMPLETE care is taken as per looks . Highly highly recommend her .

Very bad experience. Wanted to book her but she is very disrespectful. She will ask you transfer money to lock the date, will keep following up and then she will talk to you in a very cheap manner and not return money. It looks like she is just scamming people. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. She will try hard to give justification by sending long messages and will constantly stress you out by calling and messaging in your work hours for money. Any professional makeup artist will share a proper pdf with her charges but with her you will find vague charges as per her wish. The is zero professionalism and lack of sensibility. I am glad I found this about her well in advance. She must’ve ruined my wedding day. Save yourself spamming of zillion unprofessional messages, and a stressful wedding. There is no revenge and it’s too petty as she has refused to give me the token money anyway. The point is It’s extremely unethical and she is habitual to this as I have found out from many other makeup artists now that I’m speaking to a few more. Even hairstylist who have worked with her has bad reviews about her aggressive behaviour and tonality. Be careful.

Here the bridal makeup cost is indicated as 15k but her actual charges are 25k. Plus she is very careless. She left the hotel room door open after completing her job. When you book a makeup artist , along with good makeup you expect your MUA to be cooperative and well behaved,this lady has none of them.In wedding you have to deal with may things, there are vidhi,guest, photos etc... If your crew is cooperative the function goes smoothly..but wen u get people like these it's a complete mess . ...she does good makeup but if you and your family is ready to bare her tantrums only then go for her... Also she will not stay firm on what is decided during booking time...she will keep adding charges and demands as your wedding day will approach and take advantage of your dependency on her....Half of the time my frnds were busy handling her... Also she was continuously pestering around me without caring that this is my special day ...15-20 mins waiting time and she will create a havoc.. i had booked her for 2 slots afternoon and evening makeup...she was expected to stay at the venue ... She wanted a room with bed where she can sleep for 3-4 hrs gap between my two looks...our venue did not have a bed so she demanded a car and driver for her to drop her at her mom's place ,between two makeups slots..She has just irritated everyone at our wedding. If it wasn't my wedding and if she wasn't my makeup artist we would have kicked her off the venue... We couldn't say much as we were dependent on her and had to bare her tantrums... Not recommended by me.There are much better MUA out there who are also well behaved.. And the main thing was she had no other bride after me... So for what this Lady was creating a scene at our wedding i really did not understand.. highly insensible and inhuman person.. After paying 40k bucks ,paying her travelling charges separately and providing her with a car and driver, you get this behaviour from a makeup artist is just not tolerable... people like these should be really ashamed for themselves..

Great work done by Namrata and team for the bride and siders. The makeup was super long lasting and stayed on all night. It was completely sweat proof and beautifully blended with the skin. They were able to capture exactly what each one of us had asked for. The hairstyles looked extremely detailed and were done very gently. The draping of the dupatta looked elegant and was unique for every sider. Not only did Namrata and her team do an amazing job for us, but we’re also quick in their work and we’re able to get us ready on time! Wonderful experience!

Namrata Gaba is so amazing ! She made me and my mother look and feel so gorgeous. I am not a makeup person & was really nervous about looking too ‘done’ but the makeup looked so natural and it remained flawless all night. She was very responsive throughout our communication and has a wonderful eye for color, respectfully listens to your requests, and moves throughout the getting-ready period of the day with a calm, collected stress-free attitude.
