I saw this shop on Instagram and YouTube videos and decided to order a lehenga from them for my mother. We live in NYC so all of our communication was on Whatsapp. It was very easy to communicate with them and they were very responsive to my questions. I received my lehenga and was absolutely in love with it. The work, design, and color was everything I had in mind. When I first ordered the lehenga they sent me a receipt detailing the lehenga, the changes I wanted, shipping cost, and approximately how long it would take. They were upfront about the pricing so they were no extra charges later down the road. My order came with beautiful latkans even extra fabric for mask. It also came with hanger, dress bag and storage bag. It was so well packed when I received it. The only downside is that they are a little bit more expensive than other shops and they did go over the time they said it would be ready by. however, it was all worth it because the work is great and looks very expensive. also during the time they were making my order, India went into lockdown so that caused some delays. Overall I highly recommend Kundans. like I said they are a little on the pricey side but it is well worth it in the end and I recommend keeping in mind that delays do occur so order early with enough time to spare. hi all, that's the lowest rating I could give, hence i chose it. I won't describe much beyond the timeline below for which I have clear proofs: (the seller is by the name of Chander here) 15th September, 2020: contacted the seller-kundan bridal couture, had virtual call to see collection 1st October, 2020: placed my order through call and whatsapp, sharing all required details through pictures and chats, to have it as a record and ease for the seller paid advance as much was asked by the seller. we agreed upon the blouse stitching would be included and we would replace velvet dupatta by another. requested fabric sample to decide on colour and texture 25th October,2020: received sample 27th October, 2020: visited the shop flying all over from lucknow to delhi, to make sure all my requirements are met by meeting the seller in person they wrote every minute detail in a notebook, we took 1-2 hours to discuss all details as I wanted very specific things in the lehenga. all customisation was noted down in the notebook we agreed and left, we were communicated the delivery date as first week of December 24th Nov, 2020: I was communicated that only one kali would be made by dec first week, which when I approve then they will go ahead, as requested by me (but in November) 24th Dec, 2020: i was shared the ONE BOOOTI NOT EVEN A KALI on video call 3 weeks late, which had multiple issues. it was way different fork.what we had told and they had written down on paper. infact the thread colour was way different from.what we chose. 1st Jan, 2021: shared my blouse measurements as asked by him, 2 days late. sent exact pictures and measurements to make sure how I want the blouse to be. requested for a jaal dupatta to be added with agreed extra cost I also requested for a trail for another outfit of mine, requested details on it which I never received. 6th JAN,2021: received picture of first kali where colour as well as the border was entirely different. I pointed it out with pictures of the content they had documented when I had visited their showroom from lucknow 7th Jan, 2021: they agreed their fault and told me on call that it shall be forwarded to the KARIGAR for the requested changes 16th Jan,2021: requested updates on the changes and on jaal dupatta, requested change in colour of jaal work, to which they had agreed 23rd Jan, 2021: after multiple unanswered calls, and lost of frustrations, finally I was shown the complete piece which was with the INCORRECT BORDER which I had already pointed out on 6th Jan, and they had agreed to amend it. we had a long conversation where he kept on selling the wrong product to me that it looks nice. and kept on begging from me to not cancel my order, which I should have done, but foolish enough as I was, I agreed to keep the wrong product also, as I didn't want him to bear the loss. so he offered me to remove the extra cost of jaal dupatta and to stitch the blouse in free (which already was included in the very beginning in September) at that moment these costs mattered null to me as my lehenga was not what I had ordered. the next day I started examining the picture even more clearly and there were plethora of faults in it which were visible. the stiching the handwork the look.. it was awful and then he again made some promises that these things will be done by them, and will be rectified (which by now you would know that they wouldn't have done any) 4th Feb, 2021: I reminded them in pointers again as to what all is left from their end so that there is no further mismanagement they asked to have a video call next Monday 5th March, 2021: received no video call till date, even after multiple msgs from me. kept on procrastinating. kept on reminding them of my trail as well. 17th March, 2021: I was contacted by them that they are sending the order. they told me that the blouse was messed up the by the tailor so they are sending me the messed up blouse. the actuall blouse they will make again and send it seperately. I agreed even to this idiocy. they demanded comlete payment, but since we were not getting my blouse we sent all the payment except for 10k 1st April, 2021: received the product, which had one more thing missing, my jaal dupatta, apart from the blouse, which was not communicated to me before parcelling the lehenga was not with appropriate flair....it did not have the kind of puffiness and inner layers as I had communicated through pictures and what not on calls and chats on communicating the same, I was told they will send me a cancan skirt seperately with my blouse. not from 1st April to 21st April: me and my fiance have just been begging them to send my blouse and dupatta, as I would require atleast two days for alterations 24th April 2021: I received my blouse, and I was not even at my home. my wedding was on 26TH APRIL, 2021 WHICH HE KNEW SINCE THE VERY BEGINNING. WE HAD ALREADY LEFT THE RESORT ON 24TH MORNING... AND WHO RECEIVED THE COURIER AND ALL I HAVE NO IDEA... I HAD TO WEAR THE INCOMPLETE LEHENGA WITH A DISTORTED BLOUSE AND OME DUPATTA EVEN WHEN I HAD PLACED THE ORDER WELLLL IN ADVANCE... THEY HAD 8 MONTHS AND YET AFTER DESTROYING MY LEHENGA, THEY MADE ME WEAR THE INCOMPLETE ONE. AND TO TOP IT OFF... I NEVER GOT MY TRAIL .. NEVER... THEY KEPT ON TELLING ME WE ARE SENDING IT...ITS IM PROCESS ITS IN TRANSIT..I NEVER GOT IT...I EVEN ASKED IN APRIL START THAT IF U CANT MAKE IT LET ME KNWO, I WILL MAKE LOCAL ARRANGEMENTS TO WHICH THEY ASSURED ME THAT IT WILL BE SENT. I HAD TO WEAR THAT TRAIL ON MY RECEPTION WHICH had to HAPPEN TOMORROW 29th April, 2021 IN ANOTHER STATE... I never received that as well. THE COVID WAS ENOUGH TO REDUCE THE EXCITEMENT FOR THIS WEDDING....BUT ATLEAST WEARING MY LEHENGA AND OUTFITS WOULD HAVE COMPENSATED IT. BUT IT JUST MADE IT WORSE. I cannot imagine these people are running the business . I paid them on time.. I did everything form.my end.. even visited their store, accepted their mistakes, thought about their loss instead of mine, trusted them over n over n over again.. and at the end my wedding outfits were destroyed. writing this out today as I don't want further victims to their unprofessionalism . I have proof of every single thing I have mentioned above.. even call records. i have initialised the procedure with a family lawyer to file a suit against them. a wedding happens once for most of us, and I planned it well to have no such issues...and yet this is how I have been treated. if anyone here wants a reassurance to what all I have said.. please reach out to me on aanyasri14@gmail.com, and I will share all relevant proofs of chats and call records. but please don't ruin your wedding like I did, by choosing and trusting them.
