I loved how I looked after my makeup and hairstyling. It's exactly what I dreamt about my wedding look. Stunning finish and the makeup really complemented my trousseau. Totally recommend her. Firstly I want to thank MJ for making my D-Day so special.. I have taken bridal makeup from MJ and I would say this was my best decision. It was so subtle and classy like I wanted. I got many compliments and I m thankful to MJ for that.. She uses high end products which will stay for long without any breakouts. So girls if you are confused (like I was before I chose MJ) whom to choose for your D-Day just go ahead and book MJ u will not regret trust me. I came across MJ at a very fortuitous time as I was looking for someone good at a very short notice and given the time crunch, working with MJ and her team was the best experience ever. Right from the makeup trial to the wedding day, MJ ensured that she kept in touch with me and ensured a seamless experience throughout. She is very professional in her approach and to her credit, she ensured that all safety protocols were maintained and followed. She took special care to take note of what kind of a look I wanted and gave her valuable inputs as well. Most makeup artists only focus on getting the work done without taking time to connect with the client but MJ was a sweetheart who spent time getting to know me and ensured we chatted throughout! First and foremost thing about this place is the great ambience and the positive vibes especially because of the awesome people around, which includes MJ, Mrs. Uma and Vibhu who are genuine, non judgmental and make you feel really comfortable and at home. MJ has an unique style of teaching which is impeccable she doesn’t just teach you, she makes you to practice till you get it right, makes you to learn and formulate things by yourself, which suits you the best. Right from the most appropriate sequence for applying your make up in a flawless way to an orderly manner of organizing all your items on your table and to respect and value your make up products, she teaches everything patiently. Most importantly the product she uses and suggests exudes CLASS just like her persona. Even though she speaks very less whatever she speaks are words of wisdom so… better note ‘em down ;-). By the end of the day I really felt glad and happy at heart for attending the academy. And trust me, while leaving you‘ll always feel like visiting the place again because of the awesome people. I recommend MJ for private makeup session and also for occasions. She is professional, very polite, friendly and having lots of patience to understand your need and help you with that. If you are new in makeup I really recommend you to go to her coz she will guide you in right way, if you know basics then also you can try professional courses. I had booked MJ Gorgeous and Academy for my wedding. She had done the make up for my sister-in-law for her wedding and I liked it then that without any doubt on my wedding I booked her. Her standards of delivery is just top notch. She used products like Estée Lauder, Huda and other high end make-up that I did not break out after the events given the sensitive skin that I have. The base was flawless and she attended to every little details on my skin on both the reception and Muhurtam as well as my Nichyathartham. She had kept the right amount of shimmer on my eyes and cheek on the reception day and I was GLOWING. I didn’t wanna use fake hair on the reception day as I would not only be in pain but it would really be a trouble removing it. MJ chose curls for my reception and my naturally straight hair looked volumnous and curly. Overall, I completely LOVED my makeup and hair and she enhanced my features to the best of its ability. I got compliments from everyone who shook my hand. She also did a great job for the muhurtam keeping the eyes very subtle with red and gold with a bold yet subtle red lipstick. That’s what Iyer weddings need! I was completely satisfied with the makeup, hair and I did recommend her for my friends wedding too. You all should book her too!

I hired Manu for my reception makeover and my words will fall short in expressing my experience with her. She is the most humble and patient person I have come across not only as a Makeup Artist but also as a human being. Talking about her work, she is one of the best Makeup artists and I am really glad I got a chance to be her bride. Trust me she made me look such a beauty, especially with the perfect base, how I like it to be! Subtle and natural! I just loved it to the core. Also, received many compliments on the same.
