Magic Motion Media is not a wedding photography company. It is a group of elite magicians performing a trick called “What if we took your money and gave you trauma instead of memories?” The magic began early: they missed the flight we paid for, the day before our wedding, and offered no real explanation. We had booked them hotel rooms as well, but we guess empty rooms on our expense were part of their artistic process. Months later, curious to know why the footage still hadn’t arrived, they bravely blamed it on — wait for it — “Kerala rain.” Apparently, predictable weather is now a career-ending event for India’s finest cinematographers. Co-founder Rojan intelligently informed us the delay was only 54 days past the contract instead of 67 days. Ah yes, thank you, Rojan. Nothing says customer service like proudly saying it could have been even worse. Meanwhile, Rueben, the founding ghost, sat quietly polishing his “World’s 50 Best” participation trophy like a proud captain watching his ship sink in flames. We can only assume the award - possibly powered by the tears of past clients - bestows the power to deflect the shame of running a team that struggles to export a 60-second reel without collapsing into chaos. The rest of the team moved like decaying zombies toward every deadline - slow, confused, unable to speak, and mostly interested in devouring what little brainpower remained. After the final act - beautifully curated stretches of silence (a creative choice, no doubt) - Our footage finally arrived long after the emotional relevance had expired. It might as well have come in a time capsule labeled “memories we ruined.” The only thing magical about this company is how fast they vanish after getting paid. A 4.6 rated Kerala studio, 4.8 Dubai, glowing 5-star walls and star-studded Instagram; - don’t be fooled: the 1-stars are the truth — we lived it!

We got married in December 2024 and are now in July 2025, yet we are still waiting for the final version of our 7-minute wedding highlight video—despite countless follow-ups and revision requests. Communication has been extremely inconsistent. Our project manager has changed multiple times, and each new point of contact offers vague timelines and unfulfilled promises. At one point, I had to sit with the editor to walk through some incredibly minor edits—edits that are still not reflected a month later. It's been exhausting. The "long-form" videos that were promised also felt rushed and unpolished. For example, the baraat video consists of 6–7 minutes of unstructured footage with random stock dhol music—not the vibrant, personalized storytelling we were expecting based on their portfolio. If you're considering this team based on what you see on their Instagram or their celebrity/Bollywood clientele, please manage your expectations. That level of service is not what we received, despite how much we spent. During the wedding itself, the team was kind and pleasant to work with, which makes this all the more disappointing. Despite sharing a detailed shot list in advance, many key photo moments and family members were missed. While we did receive SOME beautiful images, overall, the videography quality—especially for night events—felt average at best. This was a deeply meaningful event for us, and it’s disheartening to still be chasing basic deliverables after so many months. I’ve remained polite and patient throughout this process, but I’m at a point where I just want closure. Magic Motion, I hope this finally gets your attention

And the output just made us so emotional ?? and they were just like fam!! They’re very slow and unprofessional. Specially Jacob. Gave him inputs of what and who is important in the wedding, he followed, listened and took photos accordingly. But when we received the soft copy , BAMM - not a single picture in the hard drive. ( I guess he forgot to remove the cap from the lens) Also the team got tipsy on one of the Nights, and they put everything on the grooms tab. Completely Unsatisfied. Bunch of Faggots fooling around.

Promising on paper but extremely disappointing work. Time taken to complete the work is much more than what is promised. The videos edited are poor. Their communication is absolutely garbage. You have to follow up the work regularly with them and ask for updates. They will not update you on anything. Please get all aspects of the contract on paper otherwise you might be fooled. Would not recommend to anybody even as a last option. Their work is not up to the mark so please choose others as you do not want the special occasion to be covered so poorly and lastly you cannot even tell them as you wouldve already paid the amount!
