I am so glad that I met with Disha. She is a gem of a person- very soft spoken and co-operative! She took efforts to understand me and my personal style during our demo session. She was on time. I think for any bride that's the most important thing. She ensured for both my looks I was ready on time..Disha's team is efficient at the same time the work done was amazing. We had a trial session before the event, Disha was very focused on what is the brides requirement, more than anything she wanted the bride to be comfortable and happy on her big day. She's very polite and very good at her work. I never had a feeling of hesitation to speak to her about how I wanted the look to be. She was always ready to make any changes as per the brides suggestion without making us feel like it's a big deal or we are troubling them by asking for last minute changes.She exactly replicated the look which I had in my mind. So I finally got the time after 2.5 months of wedding and post-wedding chaos to write a review for my sangeet makri artist. It so happened that I booked disha and prachi for my for my sangeet, wedding and reception make up along with 9 siders. I am going to attach all the necessary screen shots of our chats and payments. Firstly, I was assured that they would need max 3 hrs to get me ready as i was the bride and for the siders they have a team(you can find ss of this) I had to strictly leave the house before 3.45pm due to some muharat on sangeet day, 26th nov, 2023. The bridal package included a face mask which they never applied. Throughout the make up session of me(bride), my sisters and mother (siders), we were assured that the final look would turn out to be “Flawless” and “glamorous” One of my sisters (Anjana) got her complete look done first and you can find the pictures of her in black dress right here. She turned her makeup into a complete disaster by not applying the correct shade of foundation and doing an extremely cakey makeup. It was so bad that by the time Anjana was done, her foundation started oxidising turning her face dark. After about 5 mins Anjana asked the makeup artist(Prachi), who did her makeup, to redo a few parts which were looking extremely dark(forehead, upper lips), and to change her lipstick. All was of no use as it only got worse from there. Coming to my youngest sister(Sania), to state in very clear words, she was looking like someone had thrown powder on her face and brushed it off. Prachi did not even apply an eyeliner to her or do any makeup other than foundation and base because they were running out of time. The only one looking decent enough amongst the siders was my mom. Anjana had to stand on their head and watch out for everything that she was applying on my mom. Anjana guided prachi throughout my mom’s makeup regarding the quantity of product to use so that it doesn’t look cakey on her face. All of us had already told her we wanted less makeup and more of a decent glam look. Coming to me, the bride, all i can say is that she turned my entire even into a nightmare. As mentioned earlier, they were running out of time and the senior hair artist (who was supposed to do my hair) had not arrived until 2.15pm. Prachi had assured me that it would take max 3 hrs( attached ss) My makeup turned out worst amongst all of us. It was so uneven and cakey. To make it worst, they started saying you all have open pores and thats why the make up is sitting in there making it look cakey. You should have started applying ice long back to settle the skin which was done before the makeup anyway. I have attached pics of my wedding day which was done by Heena Singh Makeovers from Thane and it was flawless. Prachi’s hair artist Ms. Yashoda was not done till 3.45 pm and the muharat already passed. It was such a bizarre situation of everyone waiting for us to leave past the muharat and reaching the venue late. None of us were draped properly. Sania and my dupatta came off completely by the time we reached the venue. We managed it all until my hair extensions and the hair accessories literally came out as they were done so badly. At that time, i called prachi from the venue. She then sent her hair artist 1 hour later to fix my hair and dupatta. My day was completely ruined but I somehow put up a happy face in the event to tackle the situation. After all the mess up that she did, she had the audacity to ask for extra 3450. We had canceled all her bookings for other events. You can read the chats about how she tells me “this is honestly her first time” rather than completely accepting her own mistake. To ruin a bride and her family’s day on the first event is what only these sisters can pull off. After all the calculations, I asked for a refund. My sister screamed at her for everything she did with us and the money she had now literally taken away and not willing to refund. She didn’t speak one bad word. All prachi had to say was you cant talk to me like this. What an irony! She could ruin a whole event and we cannot demand our own money back. Its my humble request to anyone reading this to never book her again and to wed me good to remove these sisters from this platform. You can read everything in ss. She had assured a refund but the moment I corrected her calculations, she denied my refund. Ridiculous service. Girls, please be very very very careful with the makeup artists you book. It’s a matter of a lifetime. These pictures will stay forever and the memories will haunt you if you don’t look or feel pretty.
