Makeup by Deepa Megnath

I will categorize this review into two parts: 1. Professionalism: From what I have heard, the experiences with wedding vendors especially MUAs aren't always pleasant. Vendors aren't respectful about the client's time (it's known IST isn't really taken seriously at Indian weddings). There's a very similar almost same 'general routine' done with every client. And at times they are quite adamant about their work. I am a noob so I wanted someone who can customise her work based on my skin, features and requirements. Enter Deepa- she was the first and only MUA I had a trial done with and I just knew. She is visibly passionate about her work. You are her canvas and she will put everything into creating an art. And what a professional! She was before time for all my events, and helped me get ready on time. But my favourite part was how she treats her team: there's a learning, a teaching and a brainstorming process all at the same time while the client's makeup is going on. Also, I have extremely sensitive skin, and I was sure I would definitely breakout after the heavy bridal makeup (everyone I had asked, told me you cannot avoid this as your skin isn't used to as much makeup) Guess what: not even a single pimple or texture change. Amazing high end products. Trust me if my skin survived, yours definitely will. Makeup enthusiasts: please ask what she uses, I am sure she will be happy to help out. All my looks were appreciated and quite different from each other: I went for a very pop colourful one for Haldi, very MetGala-ish for Sangeet and a neutral, natural look for the wedding. My makeup stayed for several hours, after sweaty dancing and Holi like haldi. (Also for noobs like me: No, the makeup doesn't look cakey and contrary to popular belief airbrush isn't needed). 2. Personal touch: From the trial, till post wedding she has been sweet and helpful to me. If you want someone who is genuinely nice, enjoys her work and vibes with you all at the same time: Please hire her. Her attitude towards her client, her team, her client's family and friends is extremely nice. Case in point: She was very patient with my mom (a woman who has never even worn a lipstick in her entire life) and did her makeup as well. She vibed with my best friend as well. Final words: Trust her if you are noob, tell her your requirements, definitely go for a trial (as it helps you both: she notes down your skin type, shades, products, your requirements and follows it through). And if you are an expert, then I think you should already know her :P P.S. A shout out to her hairdresser as well, thank you so much for making me beautiful ❤️

I was on a hunt in finding a MUA for my enagagement, I was very skeptical as this was my first time with any MUA just then I found Deepa through one of the reels on instagram. I went ahead and booked a trial session. The trial went well and I found her very sweet and understanding to the client needs. So went ahead and booked her for my event I must say she did an amazing job on my engagement look. The pictures turned out to be really good. The makeup was exactly how I asked for keeping it natural and glowy! Thank you Deepa ☺️!

So to start off with, I have no clue about makeup..but for my wedding reception, I had to pick Deepa and her team, but I was as usual super late in reaching out to her. But she made sure she was flexible for me along with her team and did a fab job. Deepa and her team made me feel at ease, the make up, the hair, saree draping all was on point just like how I wanted my look to be.What actually stood out for me was how comfortable they made me feel with the pre and post makeup, they made me feel calm at ease and the team super friendly. Deepa - Thank you very very much and accommodating me last minute. I couldn't have asked for a better MUA and friend who could make me look that good. Lots of love to the entire team!

Deepa was referred by my husbands cousin , she knew her work and passion for the same. since I did not know any bridal makeup artists in banglore this was really helpful. Deepa’s makeup process really feels luxurious and calming. What you need on your wedding day is a relaxing way of getting ready, that’s exactly what Deepa made sure. She understood the kind of look that I wanted, without having to show any reference pictures. I got the perfect Christian bride look and all thanks to Deepa for being the best makeup artist in banglore to give me that. I will always recommend her for making any bride feel beautiful on her wedding day.

If success was just measured by customer satisfaction then Deepa would be ranked the best makeup artist ever because I had a huge smile on my face the entire time I had makeup on! Even the process of her applying the makeup was tons of fun. Deepa and her team were professional, punctual and amazing at their jobs even under immense time pressure. I wish I could give her 10 stars for making me feel like a princess on my wedding day but I’ll just stick to 5 for now ☺️ Thank you so much Deepa and may you keep shining brighter ❤️

We had a wonderful and the most amazing experience , getting our makeup done by Deepa Megnath and her team. They were extremely professional and everything was perfect. From the make up trial to the makeup on my wedding day , was handled very well , good communication and with perfection. Their team also did a very good job, as we had booked the makeup package , for our 2 bridesmaid and also the groom. They were on time, as we had 2 events on the same day. Deepa Megnath and team understood my vision for my wedding and did a great job ! I had booked her for 3 events, everyone said each look was unique and I got so many compliments :) She also did make up for my mum and mother in law, they were so happy about both their looks ! I spoke to so many artists before I finalized, but I knew she was it after my first conversation!

It was a tough task to choose an MUA for my big day and fortunately I found Deepa referred by my dear friend. Deepa maintained professionalism throughout. I could have never had found a better person for my big day. Timeliness, the team, quality and the whole experience with deepa is completely top rated and wholesome. Having deepa as my MUA for my big day was one of my best decision and she made my big day perfect.
