Nourin (make-up) and Priya (hair) were indispensable to me during my wedding in Bangalore. They were so easy to work with, were flexible with the very early muhurtham I had, and just so easy to spend time getting ready with. They made me feel at ease during the stress of wedding chaos, and did such an amazing job with the hair and make-up for my muhurtham, reception and sangeet. I still get emotional thinking about my make-up looks, and can’t recommend them enough. I approached Nourin from UK after coming across her Instagram page. I found her work as it stood out for me. I have used her services as Bride’s sister. I had a make mishap during my own wedding few years so u came across as a very scared client. But her trial session eased me out. She exactly knew my skin type and did exactly how I desired my make up to be. I wanted to go out n about so she also recommends hairstyles n eye make up to go with it. My confidence bucked up and I went for a dark smoky eye makeup with lenses and with the Seema Gujral Saree it took me to another height: the look was mega appreciated. She uses certified products and I had no after reaction. It was a beautiful amalgamation of client and artist work. I would also like to recommend her hair stylist who was heavily pregnant but she did a magnificent job with my hair. They are no frill and ask for no additional facilities just clean green rooms or hotel rooms to perform their job well. She took care of my mehendi hairstyle n sister hairstyle bride, wedding morning and evening look and drape. The only thing that I would like to mention that this was my first time in India doing my makeup hence before Travelling in Bangalore keep traffic added to your travel time.

Pros: - The bride’s makeup was stellar. It made her look absolutely gorgeous. She was a head turner. - She understood the occasions well and adapted makeup accordingly. - Her team was quite flexible with travel from Bangalore to Chennai. Cons: - The trial session for makeup resulted in a horrible look for the groom’s mother (who was the only one involved in the trial). Despite detailed feedback, the same horrendous look carried forward for the groom’s mother throughout all occasions. - Several others were unhappy with the result of the makeup for various reasons - too much makeup, makeup that altered the skin complexion, makeup that completely altered the look of the person. The artist was repeatedly told to keep a natural look and not a super cakey, altered appearance. - Did not get what we paid for. The artist is pricey but did not care about our interests and did only what she thought was good. We were okay with the price, but in this case price did not bring quality.

For my wedding events I was looking for an MUA who has a style of subtle yet stunning. And after my trial with Nourin I was certain that this is her style and exactly what I was looking for. Nourin is a great artist! She dressed me up for my sangeet night. She gave me a western look on my western dress. Very classy, very elegant. I received a lot of compliments. She made me look and feel like a Barbie doll. (Most girls have always dreamt to look like a Barbie doll, at least I did!! ) The only reason I did not give her a 5 was - like every other wedding, my wedding had a lot of chaos and delay. My wedding was in a resort, away from the city, and I can understand Nourin’s concern, but she could have handled this more professionally I feel. She kept texting me saying there will be a late charge, that can make any bride feel very anxious and I think people in the wedding related businesses should expect some chaotic situations. Some situations are just unavoidable. One thing I appreciate about her is even though I might have driven her crazy with all the wait, she did do a great job on the make up, and I was very happy with that!
