Nupur is a wonderful make up artist and very talented but the low ratings is due to how things turned down at my wedding. 1. Nupur was paid to do make up for bride, brides mother, mother in law and groom and she showed up with only one extra person who does the hair. She does not have the capability to handle more than one person (just bride +1) and due to tight timelines in a wedding that’s a big issue. She was conveyed the number of people months in advance and also paid for it she did not do anything. 2. I fully paid Nupur the morning of my wedding (before wedding starts). During my wedding she was supposed to tie a nauvari to my MIL and there was a difference of opinion between her and my MIL (my MIL wanted a different type and Nupur had tied that saree in a different way). When this happened there was verbal disagreement and words were exchanged. Right after I stepped out of my wedding Nupur told me about this and she decided to leave me high and dry (I had one last event - my reception for which Nupur was already paid for to do makeup and hair) SHE JUST LEFT! 3. I completely understand that maybe my MIL was harsh or whatever- but she could have handled the situation in a much professional way. She could have said we’ll do reception makeup only for bride but not MIL and resolved it. Nupur just decided to LEAVE and that was horrible ! Leaving a bride with no makeup or hair a few hours before the reception on a day when thousands of weddings are taking place and there’s no way I can find anyone at last minute is a worst thing that can happen to a bride. 4. My wedding ended at 12pm and reception timings was 7pm and the earlier discussion was that Nupur to go home and return to resort (25 min drive) at 5pm to start makeup for reception. However when I stepped out of my wedding she said she’ll wait and I have to pay waiting charges for 12-5pm which was not acceptable. She also had the audacity to ask for a room to rest last minute which could somehow be managed but the asks seems very unreasonable and unprofessional. 5. All in all a bitter experience when it came to make up artist.

We hired Nupur for reception make up for Manjusha on April 19th for her wedding reception. Nupur was very responsive from the start, and arrived on time although the bridal party was 15 mins late. She was accompanied by her partner who did Manjusha's hair. Both Nupur and her partner made us feel comfortable throughout their stay. While I was happy with the hair styling, I was slightly disappointed with the make up services, given the hefty price tag we pay for a memorable day. I told Nupur to match my true skin tone and even upgraded to the airbrush make up in hopes of a lighter feel of make up. In my reception photos, however, we saw that my cheeks were quite pigmented than the forehead (picture attached for reference). It's an acceptable look, but not quite what I was looking for. I have no doubt that Nupur is highly talented and is completely capable of achieving the make up look you desire. Sadly, in my case things didn't work out and it turned out to be an expensive mistake perhaps due to gaps in my communication. We were already running late for the event by the time the make up was done, so I didn't really have much time to look closely and ask Nupur for a fix. Overall I'd rate my experience a 3/5.

We booked Nupur on a last minute wedding and she was absolutely there for us and made our day special. She was patient enough to wait for us in between our costume change during our rituals. My sister was coming back from US for her wedding and We really didn’t have enough time to prepare for the events due to Covid and quarantine restrictions. I decided to surprise my sister by booking NupurMakeupArtistry and her team for the wedding and oh boy! they delivered what they promised. So due to some family emergency my sister reached the venue very late and gave Nupur only 45 mins before the ceremony for the makeup but She and her team did an amazing job of doing Makeup, Saree draping and Phooljhada within 45 mins and my sister was on stage at exact Muhurat time and she just couldn’t stop smiling the entire day coz of the compliments she was getting from everyone. I am so lucky to get her on my wedding. She was already booked but thank god she had a free slot on my wedding day and I couldn't have been happier.
