I got Mrignaina's reference through a friend in advertising, since she does a lot of hair/makeup for ad shoots. What really sets her apart is the quality of product she uses - only the very best whether it's the makeup, hair extensions or any accessory . And this really reflects in the final look - quietly elegant . Nothing garish or over the top. Mrignaina was the only person I took a trial from before deciding for my wedding and I really didn't have to look any further! Majority of the artists giving trials these days do only half face and also charge exorbitantly for it, but she is nothing like that. She was so so patient with me and spent a little over three hours in just giving me a trial! She not only washed and styled my hair but even did threading apart from the make up itself. She even offered to give me a haircut! I find it very hard to judge make up if only half of my face is done but her trial is an entire make up look, lashes and all included , so there really is no room for any doubt! Choosing a make artist is such a big part of every bride's journey and she really understands that. Her trial is not only focused at displaying her skills but she also wants to create a rapport with the bride so that you feel totally comfortable with her by the time the big day arrives. She is the perfect pick for anyone who actually wants to look like themselves on their big day. She doesn't try to change your natural features but rather only enhance them, which is soo tough to find in make artists these days. Another thing that was very important to me was to find someone who would actually listen to what I want, because many artists can be stubborn about their "view." Thankfully she is nothing like that! She's got some serious experience, she's extremely professional and really gives importance to cleanliness and hygiene making sure to clean all brushes before using them on you. Mrignaina was nothing short of incredible throughout my wedding. I had such a mix of events, from a traditional Indian ceremony, followed by a Reception, Sufi evening and a brunch. Mrignaina managed to create such different looks for each event, and made me feel equally as confident at all of them ? which I thought would be mission impossible! After seeing how Mrignaina transformed me for my first event, the private Indian ceremony outdoors, with such a soft and subtle look, I just left everything up to her for the rest of the events. I also wanted to steer clear of the heavy Indian bridal make-up as it?s not my style ? and Mrignaina managed to create dramatic, striking looks without ever going too heavy at all ? she built each look up gradually until we got to a point where both of us were very happy with the end result. I had seen her work on a bride long before my wedding but I remembered the look and knew I wanted to get a trial from her as soon as i started looking for artists. I'm so glad I got in touch with her because from the trial to the wedding she is exactly the artist every bride needs. She was the only artist willing to come home and give a full face trial in contrast to a half face trial that most artists offer these days. As a matter of fact she urged me to take a trial on a night out so that I could be sure of the look and that's where the compliments began. From the day of the trial right through to the 4-5months that led up to the wedding she was always helping me with every little skincare question. For all the brides out there Mrignaina is your go to for the BEST home remedies for all skin problems. Not only that in the months that led up to the wedding she made sure I had the perfect brows for my big day. She really does take care of all the little things. On the big day she worked on mom, sister and me and honestly I'm so glad we trusted her with it. She was par excellence. Her work on each one of us was showered with compliments. She was perfectly calm didn't hurry anyone up and gave enough time and technique to my mom and sister as well. I was lucky enough to have found the beautiful Mrignaina to do my wedding make up and hair. She is in two short words a complete Pandora's box. Not that I expected any less from her in lieu of all the praises I had heard of her, but she definitely superseded them for me. This is to all the brides out there, you really need a calm, patient, wilful, good in a crisis and head strong lady out there as your hair stylist, make up artist and someone who will help you conceptualise your outfit for your big day in the way you have perceived it. You'll need someone who won't only agree with your suggestions but will also be assertive with her opinions when you know you really need some advice but can't seem to make up your mind on it. With all your relatives scattered around doing work and your bridesmaids pseudo handling your friends for you, you will most definitely need someone to substitute your mom, your aunt and your best friend for advice while getting ready for your functions and Mrignaina by far has all these qualities. Even though she's my moms age, I can say she's more my friend now than just someone I worked with to create all the magic! The qualities that most attracted me about her was the kind of interest she showed in each of her do's and the time she put into making me look my best well before my wedding approached. She gave some really great ideas and suggestions for my looks on each function. With her help I conceptualised each look with a theme in mind and built up my outfits, jewellery, look and hairdo day by day. It's no fun looking the same kind of done up everyday with a different lehenga each day. Mrignaina's experience helped me get clarity on this because being a bride you want everything to be glitzy, glamy and heavy each day and you want it, no matter what! Now it isn't easy to conceptualise each and every look including the hairdo and hair accessories when most of your outfits aren't ready. You like seeing the whole deal together but can't do a full run before the actual day of the functions. This is when you need someone who's well experienced in thinking for you when the time actually does come. On my reception day even though Mrignaina and I had decided on a particular look and style for me, I wasn't happy with how it turned out on me, but without any hesitation or bad mood or sour faces Mrignaina fixed me up and made me look more glamorous than I expected. So it's not that the previous style was bad and she didn't do a good job, it's that I didn't like how it looked on me on the actual day of the function but then it's because I trusted her taste and the fact that she carries a whole lot of hair accessories with her and is so hands on that I let her do what she thought was right for my hair and make up for my reception. Brides the maximum time you spend with anybody when your wedding comes is your make up and hair stylist so choose carefully or if you're like me and like being a perfectionist then Mrignaina is the one for you!
