Mukulika Makeup Artistry

This lady has horrible attitude towards the clients. I booked her for my bridal makeup and it was the biggest mistake of my life. Makeup started breaking immediately after she and her team left in a rush. They were in such a rush that they even forgot to wear me the “Mukut” which is the beauty of a Bengali bride. Hairstyle was just pathetic.Added was her extremely arrogant attitude. She and her team was even not ready to cleanse my face before starting the makeup. She just kept on repeating same words that “I am a senior make up artist and bla bla” numerous times. Moreover, as her google review is pathetic, recently she has just deleted her google profile. In Facebook , I wrote the real review but she and her team attacked me like anything and they managed to collect some good reviews from their own persons and somehow managed to secure good rating. So it’s a suggestion to all the would be brides, please don’t fall into the trap of a handful of good reviews this lady somehow managed to get in her fb page. Don’t book her. Your special day will be spoiled. Instead of comforting you and try to give you a good look she will try to harras you in all possible means.Lastly I want to mention that I had two receptions and corresponding make ups were done by other artists and these were just too good. So there are a plenty of good make up artists in the market- book anyone but not this arrogant lady.

I asked her for my reception. But her studio is quite far from my reception venue and my in laws were not agreed to go there as there are a lot of rituals in that day of bengali wedding. Also she was least interested to meet me personally or about my requirements.The all she spoke was.. She is a senior make up artist and she knows everything. Then I check her google reviews which were quite expecting because of her attitude. Anyway we didn't book her and she asked me about that. I replied that we are not taking. In her reply she raised her finger about my parents' upbringing. Ridiculous she is!! Mam you should first learn how to behave after that you talk about your profession. Nd thank you to show me your real side🙏

She was booked for my wedding reception day. Lets start with the moment i entered her so called studio. Less of a studio more of a factory I’d say. 7-8 brides were getting ready together in a matchbox of a place with extremely obnoxious makeup artists working all together. Some person did my base makeup with no prep what so ever. She applied a thick layer of base on my face inspite of me telling her not to make it cakey. Next there was a whole episode of hairstyle whrn the stylist continuously was demeaning me for having oiling hair. ( didnt even have basic common sense to calm the bride down in case of a crisis situation rather creating more paranoia). Next came Mukulika mam herself who was supposed to do my eyes and rest of whatver. I told her i neef soft glam with shimmer. She for god sake started contouring my face. I already have sharp features on top of which she contoured my nose such that it was not even alligned. SHE CONTOURED MY NOSE TILTED ON MY RECEPTION DAY. On top of that such a sly lady that immediately after ruining my face she goes like I think you have a tilted nose. She has the audacity to tell the client such a thing after screwing her up. Anyway right at that moment i didnt understand how pathetic i looked up until i saw the reception pictures. I look horrendously funny. 😂 so congratulations mukulika and team on successfully screwing my reception day. I booked this lady for my wedding day! That was my biggest mistake! She just ate the money! Onyer taka nie borolok howar chesta jake bole!! 😂 I asked for refund, which she didn't give ! I understand and respect that. She had confirmed over call that she would extend it cause of pandemic and I had also mentioned I will get it done within 1.5 years to 2 and at that time she agreed. When I called her for the booking, she just used slands and hung up! Horrible behaviour. Very very unprofessional. Just by gaining some fame you cannot expect good reviews! She really needs to learn how to behave with her clients!

I called this lady up to enquire about party makeup charges, and whether the service is available at the venue or not. Her answer was, ”I am a senior makeup artist, and you are expecting me to come to the venue for party makeup?.....etc. etc.” First of all, this lady has 3 star rating on Google and that too just from 2 users. Her insta follower count is lesser than even 20K. And oh my God!! What an attitude? If someone doesn't visit the venue, they directly say so. They don't try to prove themself as the biggest name in the industry and blah blah.. Such a loser. This person suffers from high inferior complexity. I have had work done before from various renowned makeup artists. I have never come across such an ill-mannered artist before. Woman, if you are really such a big name, you wouldn't have tried to prove yourself to a stranger. True is the saying, empty vessels sound much.

She's very very arrogant! She does horrible and too loud makeup. Firstly she doesn't know how to behave with a client and very over confident which won't lead her anywhere! And with such arrogant behavior she can't go too far. And coming back to makeup, i personally don't like her makeup especially Chandan and she's not all co operative. Very unprofessional. Don't waste ur money guys on her!

She used high-quality premium products to be used on my skin, so that no makeup product harm my skin. Some of the trusted products used by her were Bobbi Brown, MAC, Huda Beauty, Stella, Makeup Forever, Chanel.Love it.
