Kristy was so accommodating from the very beginning. It was difficult for me to make it to Calgary for my makeup trial, so she scheduled a trial in with me when she was in Edmonton for another wedding. Her commitment is unmatched, from the small details like adding clips on the dupatta and soft ends in the nath, all the way to creating customized touch up kits and helping the bride curate each look to be unique. Above all this, Kristy is so incredibly kind and hard-working. Wedding planning does not always end during the wedding week, so having someone so calm and understanding around to start of each morning became a grounding ritual for me. She arrived on time, was incredibly organized, and got me ready on time. All of these factors mitigated a lot of stress. Additionally, she worked so well with my other vendors. She took behind-the-scenes pictures. She took portraits of me prior to each event as well. Even if I were to imagine the best vendor, Kristy still exceeds all expectations. In terms of makeup and hair, she constantly updates her skill set through attending various classes. My hair was always flawless, and my makeup was natural (not cakey). I looked like myself, but more elevated. This was a huge confidence booster and the timelessness of her techniques means I will be able to cherish these pictures for years to come, without them becoming outdated. Even a week later, I feel so connected to Kristy and lucky to have had her be part of my wedding experience. So much so, that it was an important task for me to write this review with these thoughts fresh in my brain. Thank you so much, Kristy, for helping me achieve my dream looks.
