Got my makeup done from Nikita last month. I would like to highlight one thing.. the way she forms a bond with her bride is comendable. I clearly remember the chaios that was happening that day .. we were not able to arrange proper space for the makeup and due to which we had to make Nikita and her team wait for almost 1 hour at the venue. She however not for a single second lost her calm and rather made me absolutely relaxed during the whole session. I loved the look she gave me and I can’t thank her and her team enough for that. If u want to look stunning on your wedding I guess Nikita is the best choice for that.

Unprofessionalism behaviour and not living upto the commitment. I booked Nikita in March for wedding in November as I wanted to finalize all the vendors very well in advance and paid the advance booking amount too. After three months I text to check if everything going all right and that's when I hear she can't take my booking anymore and will return my advance. (The reason is her brother getting married -obviously I don't believe because I hear it when I decide to check what if I didn't check for few more months) . At the time of booking I asked her multiple times can you ever cancel for any reason and she was always giving me answers that we are professionals we don't cancel, would you not know then that your brother might be getting married this year and that will be your priority. Ofcourse she offered that she can get me some other makeup artist but why would I go for artists which do not have the profiles I need. Trusting someone with her big day is huge thing , I would not suggest to go with someone who cannot keep their commitment and can cancel on you. I lost three months and other artists which I liked and chose Nikita over them. Wouldn't suggest going with her for the sole reason that she cancelled on me three months later for the reason of family wedding which might not even be true. (Answer to the review Response- Looks like I'm lucky I got the cancellation three months after the booking not two days before the wedding. And I believe I had enough reason to panick after hearing the cancellation but I am sure I behaved nice and didn't use any kind of foul language or showed rude behaviour. Please feel free to post the chat. I should have known that panicking translates to being 2 year old and this is definitely the matured response- Calling the bride to be 2 year old when she heard the news of cancellations instead of emphasizing with her. About the promise that after everything you will come for wedding was definitely not convincing after you said I will be there but my mind will never be there. I definitely don't expect I have bought anyone but yes I expected that commitment will be fulfilled. Glad to know that you could imagine how I would have behaved on my day you must be very visionary. For the record I included everything in my review about how you offered other colleagues and returned my advance.

I had went to meet her for makeup trials on 6 feb and Was really disappointed to meet her. She speaks very nicely but then she is very critical about everything. While doing trials she kept on finding faults and flaws with my skin and skin tone and made feel so conscious . she said I have black patches all over my face and skin and kept on color shaming me. Kindly avoid this makeup artist unless you are milk fair and have perfect skin tone or can stand someone color shaming you and make you feel before your your d day that you look ugly. She got the foundation color wrong and used too many products that gave my skin tone greyish undertones. When I tried to tell her the same then she said that I have dark and uneven skin tone with black patches that's why . She charged me 3k for the who embarrassment and shaming. And I left that place quickly as possible coz I could not stand her strong words . My whole self confidence was shattered by this. and I rushed to my dermatologist who held a mirror and explained me that I have no such skin conditions or darkning as he said and that my skin was alright. Moreover the products she used on my face was of poor quality. and her brushes and makeup products were kept dirty. I didn't want to write this review about her but then I don't want another person to go through this harrowing experience just as me. Indian girls come in all kinds of color and we live in a tropical climate. So chances of someone getting tanned or having sun damage is normal. This is what makes us look beautiful. It doesn't mean that they are dark. It's time people change their mentality else some girls will keep on buying fair and lovely for their self confidence. below attaching a pic of me on that day before trials. no makeup no filters.

I booked Nikita a little over a year before our wedding. In between the year before the wedding I went multiple times to get my makeup done for numerous occasions. For the wedding I automatically, after the trial booked makeup for myself , my mother , cousins and sister. from the moment I sat in her chair I felt comfortable and knew she was the one, I showed her multiple pictures and with those pictures she was spot on. When my big day came she took her time to make sure my makeup looked on point, which it did, I was obsessed with how it came out! I used Nikita's services for my wedding and reception. Nikita was patient, professional and understood my ideas of what I wanted the looks to be and my areas of concern. Being a dusky woman I wanted her to enhance my features, glam me up, but make me still look like ME. She did a fabulous job and kept the wedding look subtle and glammed up the reception look according to my ensembles. I was more than happy with both the looks and received tons of compliments. I had taken two paid trials earlier and was disappointed with the lack of understanding of the MUAs of what I wanted in both cases.
