We just had our wedding in Sri Lanka this January 2025, and we would highly recommend Lucky and his team to do the same for yours. We have been planning the wedding from out of the country for a year and Lucky had been a pillar of support throughout it all. He was very responsive and accountable throughout all the plannings and always met our request. Ours was three days long and he and his team ensured everything went well and on time. From ensuring all the payments took place on time to reaching out to local vendors who would give us a fair price, Lucky’s input and efforts were tremendous. Everything went smoothly, and Lucky managed to organize far more than we ever expected. From selecting the perfect wedding venue—a luxurious 5-star hotel with outstanding service at an excellent price—to arranging the DJ, live ceremony music, breathtaking decorations, and a stunning ceremony right on the shores of the Indian Ocean, every detail was handled flawlessly. One of the biggest surprises was the photo and videography team. We expected just one or two people, but instead, an entire professional crew was there to capture our special moments. At first, we had some natural concerns about planning a wedding remotely with someone from a completely different culture. Trusting someone with financial transactions and our vision for such an important day was not easy. However, Lucky proved to be incredibly trustworthy and professional. Every financial aspect was handled through official invoices, with no hidden fees or unexpected changes. He worked within our budget to create the most incredible experience, and he truly exceeded our expectations. Meeting Lucky in person at the venue before the wedding reassured us that we had made the right choice. The biggest and most pleasant shock, however, was the wedding itself. We never imagined that our budget could allow for such a grand and beautifully orchestrated celebration. Originally, we had hired a wedding planner from Estonia, who then found Lucky and Our Wedding Sri Lanka for us. Together, they coordinated our wishes and structured the entire event perfectly. We also want to highlight the professionalism of the staff at The Villas Wadduwa and, in general, express our appreciation for all the wonderful people we met during our month-long stay in Sri Lanka. Having traveled to many countries in Asia over the years, we can confidently say that Sri Lankan people are among the friendliest, kindest, and most sincere we have ever met. The country felt incredibly safe, and we are already looking forward to coming back. Who knows—maybe Lucky will be organizing our 10th anniversary celebration in Sri Lanka one day!

Lucky did a fantastic job arranging our wedding in Sept 2023. Even with the obvious challenges with arranging a wedding 7000 miles away, Lucky did a great job. My wife is from the US and im from Sri Lanka, so we were struggling to find someone who could pull off a mixed culture wedding. We contacted Lucky and he assured that both of us had our needs met for the wedding. With my wife being abroad, she was really worried about her inability to be as involved in the wedding, but everything was absolutely perfect day of and Lucky did an amazing job of making time to listen to my wifes input and ideas and communicate with her each step of the process as well while she was still abroad. On location Lucky was very consistent about the time and would always double check things that were required to be done before wrapping them up as complete to make sure no loose ends were present. Lucky was great at communicating with our DJ, Photographer and Makeup Artist as well and kept things running with out issue till the day of and on the big day as well. Lucky is a great guy, very friendly and easy to communicate with! I would definitely recommend him!

I and my wife both live in the USA and we decided to have our wedding in Sri Lanka. We contacted Lucky and he was introduced to us by one of my close friends. Actually, we are so lucky to have him. We had to postpone our wedding one time because of the COVID-19 and that time also lucky was with up to the last minute. After one year we came back to Sri Lanka and we had the best wedding ceremony! Lucky was the backbone of our ceremony. All the guests went happily and all the things went very smooth thanks to him.
