Pernia is a synonym for cheat, trauma, harassment and deceit. Like many other, even we had the worst experience with them. We placed an order with them on Nov 6 and was promised delivery in 15 days. After multiple and rigorous follow ups, we were given a defective item on Dec 7. When we refused to take the item, they gave us two options, to give them another month to make another piece or take store credit. We requested them to give us refund instead to which they lied to us that they don’t have any refund policy. We went back and checked their terms and conditions written at the back of the invoice where it’s clearly written that in case of delay from their side by more than 7 days, the customer is eligible for refund. Multiple unpleasant conversations with multiple people at the store and head office across multiple months and yet they refused to refund the money which was rightfully ours. This place is doing everything possible they could to shut down and they will soon enough. RIP Pernia. Your death is very near.

Horrible attitude from the customer service team. Pls do not purchase from them as any help post purchase is a nightmare. I bought a dress and have been told no return will be possible, although the product was not on sale. The reason they gave me us that I used the promotional gift coupon they had given me on my last purchase. There was no mention of such a policy when I bought the dress. Also very rude and cold attitude once the item is sold. I have been chasing them to receive only a standard please be patient, we will get back to you. Today I finally took to social media. Please do yourself a favour and never order from them again. Connect directly with designers you like .

Pernia’s pop up store (kala ghoda) harassed my mom and I and traumatised us during my wedding week. They placed my customised order with a designer (Jayanti Reddy). Turns out, the measurements that were taken were incorrect. They also promised us that a new piece would be given to us by the designer but none of that sort happened. The outfit did not even go back to the designer and the designer was completely unaware about the situation. Pernia pop up store completely damaged the outfit to an extent where it became completely unwearable. They also made us pay the deposit of a large amount and never informed us about their “non refundable” policy. They kept us in the dark about their policy. They were also completely unreachable and unapproachable and extremely rude with specific mention to the store manager, Athira. Athira was extremely unprofessional, rude, irresponsible and also lied to us. This cause immense pressure and stress especially during a period which is supposed to be fun and memorable. We had asked the store for the designers number and the CEO’s number but obviously we did not receive them. They kept asking us for more time when we had already given them 4 months and tried the outfit 5 times. They were trying to force us to pick up something from the store which we did not like. Pernia’s pop up store cheated us and was a full scam. They were only worried about the deposit and did not care about customer satisfaction. Their customer service is extremely poor. Instead of being responsible, Athira and her colleagues blamed the designer for the damage caused to the outfit when the designer was not even aware about anything happening. They are sadly ruining the reputation of respectable and amazing designers that we have in India. We had the worst experience ever and would not advice it to anyone especially if it’s your wedding. Instead of keeping the customers happy, they made us cry.

I have had the worst experience ever with this company. I ordered multiple outfits for an upcoming wedding and one of the outfits I received did not meet my expectations. Before ordering all of my items, I had confirmed their return policy and they assured me there would be no hassle.I have been trying to return this item for couple months now with no success. I have emailed multiple times and get thrown into loop. I have scheduled multiple calls per their request and they don’t call.? They are quick to take your orders (they almost harass you with multiple messages and emails for ordering) but delayed or no response when you have questions or need to return items.they also are terrible in providing status updates. I have to order few more items but have decided never to order from them again. I can understand delays due to unforeseen circumstances but there is NO EXCUSE FOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Just do yourself a favor and dosage yourself the trouble from ordering here!! They are unprofessional and quite deceitful. I have been messaging, pleading for my money back on an item I was assured would be delivered. I cancelled after the run around and have been begging for my money for the bast few weeks. I have never experienced anything like this before!

When ordering, I had questions and they would respond right away. I made sure they had all the information correct before placing the order and they assured me it would be done and I would receive the order in 4-6 weeks. They kept messaging me daily to place my order even though I wanted to confirm everything we had discussed. I placed the order in February and started receiving a few items. The first item, I received fine. Every time I checked for update they would say let me check and never reply. I had to keep messaging and keep messaging and then finally get a reply. I also kept confirming that the outfits were being made as I requested (all hooks in the back, no side zippers) Then the trouble started. I received the next outfit in May and the blouse made incorrectly, even though they guaranteed the hooks in the back. It came with a side zipper only on one side. The blouse would not fit. They then began to tell me it was fine and that back hooks were not needed in this style. I was angry, and explained to them how the blouse wouldn’t even come down as there was not enough opening. They asked me to have it tailored near me and let them know cost so they can reimburse me. I made sure they would and they kept confirming. I got the blouse fixed In May, I did not receive the refund. They kept saying it’s been sent to my bank and that it takes a few days. Which was a lie, they never sent it and I paid with PayPal so they didn’t have my bank information. I kept asking for the refund and they kept saying they’d reply in 24 hours. They never would so I kept messaging. In the mean time, I asked they make sure the last two outfit blouses were made as requested. They assured me they would be. I finally received those last two outfits in June (they mentioned they had no workers due to Covid lockdown….I ordered in February, during the height of covid, why take orders if you can’t fulfill them or have workers?!?!). The first one was fine but it still had the side zipper, to which they then added back hooks. The second one they did the same but it was cut in a way that it would not fit. I was angry. I asked for my refund for the alteration and that they fix this issue immediately. After a week or two of constant asking, they agreed to have the blouses picked up and fixed and sent back to me. All by July 16 (which is when I needed them by). It took them over one week to finally get DHL to pick up my blouse. I did not send the two I needed as I knew they would not get them back to me in time. They received the blouse, fixed it and told me they shipped it and I would receive it before July 16. They also finally reimbursed me my cost of alteration on the original blouse. I constantly asked for updates, July 16 came and no blouse. Glad I did not send the other two. Finally I received it on the following Tuesday. Does me no good as the wedding is over, luckily I had an extra outfit. I contacted them and they said you received it and that is all. I had no more responses from them. They are quick to take your money but after that, it’s a lost cause. Would not recommend them to anyone!

Please stop buying from this shop.I purchased a trouser and short top which was six thousand and they sent me a trouser with long shirt which is not costing more than thousand rupees. Very bad quality and they refused to exchange.

I got some of my wedding outfits from here. They have an exquisite and an exceptional collection. Absolutely loved shopping from here for my wedding. Their material is really good and so is their fitting. The staff is really helpful as well. Recommended.
