I contacted Piyali di just 6months before my wedding, since it was an arranged marriage. I was quite frantic and didn't know how to go about it. She patiently heard me through and assured that her sister Priyanka would cover both my wedding and reception days on her behalf. Both are extremely polite and professional. I liked the makeup done. I wanted somebody who could do a natural look and I came across Piyali's makeover. The make up wasn't very heavy and made me feel very princess-y. My wedding was across two days and they did a good job with both the day and night make up. They also did a great job making my extremely thin hair not look so thin. The charges were also reasonable and they used good quality products. Almost an entire day (from basi biye to bodhu boron) of wearing make up continuously did cause some rash on my face though, at the end of the second day. I was extremely sceptical while coming to decide on my D-day makeover fairy and I am soo soo glad, I had decided on Piyali di for this. I booked her almost a year before the day (as I was so excited?) and believe me or not, she helped with so much more than just the day's look. So many suggestions and advises, because I am a zero when it comes to fashion or make up and she was so so patient with me. I was blown away with my bridal makeover (it was so pretty),my baasi biye look (subtle and dreamy) and ofcourse with the Reception look (made me look like a princess). Hello everyone, my name is Smriti I got *"PIYALI DAS(piyalismakeover)"* number from *Shaadi Saaga* n *Wed me Good* app I browsed through many profiles but piyalis profile seemed to be decent and promising enough to hire her. Before finalizing her for my bridal makeup i went up to her place and paid her for a trail makeup rs 3500 and i was satisfied to hire her for my big day. I also made an initial payment of Rs15000 I hired her for 18th (Sangeet ceremony) and 19th April 2022 (The Day) And as per schedule and plan piyali was supposed to be at the venue Sonar Bangla, Kolaghat for both the days. She came on 18th dressed me up for my Sangeet which was decent but little did i know what was upcoming for the other day. Now on the The Wedding Day she was supposed to be at 4 o'clock which she didn't turn up. I anxiously kept her calling till 7p.m. but she switched off her phone and didn't inform me. As a bride i was stressed, waiting to be dressed afterall it was my The Day, My big day!! Everyone around me was getting ready except me. I kept calling my artist piyali who ditched me on my Wedding day. Now i started calling other artists in such short notice and to a place like kolaghat which is in outskirts of kolkata and not easy to reach. My artist came at 9p.m. and i had to pay double the amout as well as conveyance charges. I had a terrible embarrassing evening because of "PIYALI DAS" I never thought that such "PROMISING" artists will not stand by their word. She promises to be in top 50 in Kolkata but i wish she was!! Now , to anyone who's reading this message DO NOT HIRE HER because if she can ditch me on my WEDDING DAY she can ditch anyone on any day. Now , HIRE HER AT YOUR OWN RISK I have been trying to reach her from that day but she's not answering my calls and now has blocked me from everywhere. Facebook , Instagram, whatsapp everywhere. Later on we shared our numbers and communicated over Watsapp. I booked her service for Ashirbad ceremony(March 9th) and as it was going to take place in Durgapur, having a small kid she was not able to travel from Kolkata. She is very friendly, her work is nice and clean, uses genuine products, adjusting, but in few areas improvement is required, like the chandan that she puts was not so dark and faded very easily, hairstyle the bride's khopa, in my makeup there was this one flaw the mangtika kept on loosening, she did that correct the next day on Reception. Overall, she did her job nicely, she was not bad at all in anyways, just a lil more grooming required and she'll be on fire. She made me look gorgeous on my Reception party, I liked that more than the marriage one.
