As a bride I would urge anyone considering hiring Reynold Weddings to keep looking for a better event management company as this is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The owner Louise is the rudest person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When I hired Reynold Weddings for my destination wedding in Goa, I thought they would be able to take care of everything given the above average package cost compared to other event companies we received quotes from. I was willing to pay a bit more to ensure the best quality service and avoid any additional costs down the line. However, in the end I had to organise most artists such as mehendiwalla, photographer, pundit, ghodi walla etc. myself given the high costs RW were quoting for all of these (they seemed to be taking an almost 50% commission in some cases?!). The decor on the wedding days was just about acceptable but definitely not what you expect for what we paid. When you give them feedback, you get a very disrespectful answer from Louise and no improvement. Moreover, they are doing false advertisement on their website and proposals, claiming that they have "over an area of 20000 square feet the company has a warehouse for its entire infrastructure. With the recent successful expansion, another 20000 square feet has been added to create what we fondly call the “Wedding Mall” (direct quote from the website). However, when we went to Goa last November and asked to see this mall, they said it was converted into office space after Covid. Then how come they were boasting about it in their pitch meeting with us in 2022 and it was included in all their proposals up to December 2022 and is still on their website? Credit where credit is due: their on the day team was helpful and responded to our concerns and needs quickly (however, I really did not appreciate them effectively ending our party early by clearing up the set up before the outdoor bar had even closed). The DJ we hired through them (one of the only artists we actually procured through them), DJ Valley, was really good too. Looking at the reactions to negative reviews on wedmegood I'm sure Louise will post a petty answer making excuses about how we as the clients were in the wrong because we were trying to save money etc. but as a bride, this was the most horrible and stressful experience of my life and I feel it's necessary to warn other couples thinking of hiring this company.

We hired Reynold Weddings for my daughter’s wedding in Goa, and I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with how everything turned out. Yes, the wedding was surely memorable and our guests have left feeling happy and wholesome, however, there is a whole other story behind the scenes. To begin with, we had organised wedding hampers from Mumbai and had them sent to Goa, all the wedding team had to do was place them in the rooms, which did not happen for an entire day and still, after constant running behind them for updates, a few of our rooms hadn’t received them at all. additionally, we had even taken some wedding stationery which again, had to be placed in the rooms but we hardly saw anybody use them simply because they hadn’t reached the rooms. Moving on to our functions, my daughter thankfully rushed to the lawn and then the fans were set up, tables were put, the bar was made to be ready and start, the stalls we had fixed were started and the food was served. She had to coordinate with the hotel staff because the wedding planning team seemed to be really lost despite constant communication with them over the last few months. Kellen miscommunicated with the hotel and gave them different times so the hotel was prepared to serve food at 5 pm for a 3:30 pm function, which is bizarre in my opinion. We had to stall our guests and make sure they don’t arrive at the venue because things took the longest time to set up. Next, the sangeet. Again, my daughter had a run through of the pen drive we handed over to the team and everything worked well, but at the ballroom they said the pen drive isn’t being read by the system. Is that something we have to look into now or is it a given that the team in-charge will test it on the main system to ensure the function runs smoothly and there are no mishaps? We had to send our artist to his room to get us a wire and then our function picked up. While all of this was happening, the DJ was clueless about which track to play and when despite having a run through of it already. Moreover, the teams in-charge, leaving aside Guru because he was of huge help, the remaining members were by the bar holding their drinks and having a gala time. Not having them around was just not okay, we have had to literally hunt for them all over. At the brunch, a few stalls such as the sugarcane juice stall wasn’t even set up until we arrived. everything that we had planned over the last few months and after countless meetings with them, everything all around was pure chaos and nothing was organised. yes, the wedding did happen and we have beautiful pictures and memories from these events but the amount of mismanagement is beyond my understanding. Even at the main wedding function, the staff was enjoying their hi-tea and when asked to put up some chairs so our guests could be accommodated, we were told that there wasn’t enough staff around and so our friends, family, and the hotel staff had to help us set up more chairs and tables and we even asked a few of our guests to get up and vacate tables so the senior citizens could be seated. Lastly and most importantly, when it comes to payments, we have delivered every single payment well in time and have made sure to address all of Louis’ concerns and match her payment terms. for the last and final 5 lakhs, we had a minor mishap and requested an additional day to make the payment. if we have delivered all of the other payments, why would we hold back the last 5 lakhs which were nothing in comparison to the other payments? We’re decent human beings, we had no interest in delaying her payment or holding it back, but our account was locked due to entering incorrect pins multiple times but Louis refused to budge and threatened to stop all of our wedding arrangements had she not been paid. She then accuses us of wanting to avoid payments, but where was her team when we needed them? Why were my family members required to be on their toes all the time? Even after the unorganised mess we were willing to complete all of the payments but Madam couldn’t wait just one additional day. We were staying back at the hotel till the 11th, so there was no way we would run and escape paying her, we’re not fools. We even offered her a cheque and she couldn’t trust that it wouldn’t bounce, my wife went to the extent of offering her earrings until we could clear the payment and Louis wanted to ask if they were even real. So much for 5 lakhs? We ultimately had to borrow money from our family and clear of the payment. My wife broke down and I couldn’t stand to see her like that given that it was our daughters big day. Everybody knows how business works, Louis sure as hell isn’t the only one. all in all, extremely disappointing experience. No class, whatsoever.

Even though we had some communication gap (as we are based in Australia and one of the Point of contacts fell ill), everything fell in place in the end. We got married at the Holiday Inn Resort Goa in February 2019. From England, we did a lot of research and found that Reynold Weddings had the best reviews and work visually, and they certainly didn’t let us down. We had a three day event and all our friends and family were talking about how amazing the decor and set up was. Reynold Weddings went above and beyond to ensure each event was done to perfection and were there 24/7 so it was a peace of mind for us. The team are very easy to communicate with and always contactable from England & India. Communications were done over emails, WhatsApp and FaceTime calls. We needed an emergency change of wedding planner only 3 weeks before our wedding as our bridal original planner was basically a con artist!! Ben & Louise took over the project and as the bride who was having 200 guests flying from all over the world i was so worried, nervous and dreaded every minute of wedding planning. The previous planner made my life a nightmare. The first thing Ben & Louise told me was- Ria dont worry now we will make sure you are smiling and you will enjoy planning the wedding. And they stuck to their word!! The next 3 weeks was so much fun- i made 2 brilliant friends and me and my fiancé enjoyed working with the Reynolds team. They answered calls from us around the clock, they were constantly in touch and they looked at our vision and ideas and then brought them to life!! I had read some less positive reviews about Reynold weddings, and whilst I cannot speak about someone else’s experiences- all i can say is a doubt some of the experience written there. There is always 2 sides to the story... As Louise and Ben went over and beyond for us- we had very fair payment terms and we paid on time and in return our wedding was at the standard we had agreed and everything was in place and ready ahead of schedule (despite only have 2 weeks to get everything in place). There were even a few surprises for me and my fiancé organised by Ben & Louise- it was amazing. They have the biggest hearts! I cannot recommend Reynold wedding enough. They give you more than even what you ask for. We had absolutely no issues in paying them up front before the wedding starts. The entire team was so hepful and so hands on. The little add ons we asked for last minute were all taken care of. Back home would pay a fortune for something like this but their rates are also very reasonable and we just loved everything. Reynold Weddings did a fabulous Job with our wedding. Right from the start, they helped us with the entire flow. It is surprising to find such a company in Goa that not only plans but owns the infrastructure! They have this amazing studio where in you can see everything put up with flowers and lighting. Heights of unprofessionalism!! Highly not recommended...please beware because Reyonlds wedding is highly incapable and insensitive to you needs. These guys will follow up for the payment but their delivery is pathetic..totally ruined my wedding. They take full payment before the wedding and assure you that all will go well but its a different story once the functions start. To start with the owner Louise, will ask u to book a room for them in the same hotel or a hotel nearby claiming that they will be working round the clock but we never saw her during the entire event...not even once. My mehendi function, the entrances decor was missing, they were well informed about the timings of the function, yet no proper lighting was done. The speakers has a issue even after the function started. No one was around to coordinate for the events. Louise's coordinator Nadia came after the function was over...when told about the items missing for the puja.. (Continued in the next comment)

They ruined the wedding!! Not recommended at all. They will tell u that all will be delivered from the element sheet, but this is a lie. Also please get clarity on all the additional expenditures, as they will start mentioning them post confirmation.
