Shyamalee Thevar

As I was exploring and researching various designers/decorators across Instagram, Google and their respective websites, I stumbled upon Shyamalee Thevar’s work and I was interested to see her take on similar events. I contacted Shyamalee and in our first few conversations, I was still wondering if she would be the right person for our events in terms of our budget as well as the elements we had in mind. It is to be noted that we were planning from overseas for 4 events in two days at a resort She worked on an initial plan, getting all the details and planning through numerous phone calls and Skype calls. She managed to include all of the details that were important to us, and my mom which made us realize that she would be the best person for this job. I do not think any other team would have pulled this off without the customers meeting in person. In all of our conversations, she treated us as friends, as someone she knew for a long time. She was funny as well as professional, basically in her own skin. She eventually went on to plan a 5th event which I was very concerned about since it would become too hectic. However, she managed to do all that and everyone loved the event. It was this characteristic trait of hers that led us to take her help with management as well. We had only a month left for the big day and our families were all over the place. It was starting to get very chaotic and Shyamalee came forward and managed the event amazingly well. She took care of the hospitality, logistics in addition to decoration and set-ups at the resort. In short,I would not hesitate to recommend Shyamalee and her team for any event as they are very versatile and adapt to any environment and put their customers’ interest first.

Shyamalee's decor is kinda my family's go to decor, my cousin's wedding had five functions in our house backyard and shyamalee's decor did a wonderful job. Specially the haldi and mehendi functions were perfectly color coordinated and looked like a dream come true 😍 my other cousin also got it done from the same and these guys are extremely professional and make sure you get the look you wanted. They give in their full effort to make sure your wedding looks beautiful. Thank you guys :)

After talking to numerous planners and decorators, I saw Shyamalee's profile on wedmegood and contacted her just over a month before the wedding functions. There were 4 functions to be planned in total and I can only say that I have not seen anyone working as hard as she did. She gave more than 100% into the execution, handled even the smallest of details; the quality of her work was top notch and in the budget that we gave her she did a brilliant job. It was a big risk to leave everything on a wedding planner/decorator and not be involved in anything between the functions but hands down she handled everything perfectly. Our family and guests couldn't be happier.

We had taken Shyamalee onboard for the decor of our Sangeet and reception. From our first meeting she was meticulous in her design and planning. We had given her a brief description of what we wanted but she prepared a entire look book which showed us how our event was going to look from the stage to the tiniest of details. She designed a very unique look and she pulled the entire event off. Generally events look different from what one has in mind,but this was just perfect. Regardless to say our pictures came out incredible! :)

I hired Shyamalee for an event and left the rest to her and she deliver on point without any hiccups. She according to me is few of the best event designers in the industry and delivers exactly as promised.

There are no words to describe just how amazingly Shyamalee designs & visualises any sort of space. She beautifully executed my photoshoot keeping all the key elements as focus & she beautifully designed my entire wedding making sure no space at the venue was left empty. Shyamalee is so much more than a Event Designer, she is a perfectionist who goes above and beyond on all occasions. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication is just amazing. She is a rarity and a diligent professional, from the little details to the overall picture makes each and everything look absolutely perfect and beautiful.
