Swathi and the Studio 149 team designed the best outfit of my life for my wedding reception. We had all the communications done remotely over phone, messaging, and instagram. I learned about their Sakhi design on the Instagram page and instantly fell in love with their lehenga. I was looking for a kanchi lehenga that had the modernity of a quince dress while still rendering the beauty of a South Indian attire. Even though I’d admit their pieces come at a premium price, I can vouch for the professionalism, timely delivery, and perfect stitching they take care of for the attire. Huge kudos to Swathi and team for letting no geographical boundaries impact the beauty of her work and passion for design.

Got pavadai sattai and a dress stitched for my 9month old baby girl from studio 149, and trust me I haven’t made a better decision to get my baby’s first clothes done from. Vaishali was the one who helped me design and had it made so so beautifully even better than I had explained.everyone was so warm and courteous and made us feel at home. Got so many compliments for the dresses and I’m so sure every dress I get from now on is going to be from here :)

Studio 149 has been my go to place for years now. They always make me a unique outfit for any occasion. Swathi and team who understand what you want and make you something better than your expectations. For my wedding too, I got all my outfits from here for all events and it was a surprise to me too. I just told them some basic details and colours and then designed me perfect and unique outfits. Would totally recommend !

Having a subtle and geeky chic fashion choice throughout my life, I have never dared to try out the artsy/boho trends on the go. When we talk about wedding, it is always about flamboyant colours and magnificent jewels which scared me off a little, knowing I’m in a completely different direction. With so much thrill, I started my hunt for that one talented designer, whom I could trust and get my dream sewed as a fabric on my big day. And, I found one right under the name of @studio149. Swathi - being the founder and designer herself had all ears to listen to my requirements patiently and gave me so much confidence periodically on how it’s going to turn out. I was talking to her for a long time on the tiniest of details and mind you - when we finalised the design it was just all in the head and we had no eyes to see how it was going to look as an end product. When the day finally arrived to pick up the dress from store, I was frocking around the aisles like a retarded seal looking at the final outcome (Vaishali would have even thought I had seizures, LOL). Anyway, I couldn’t thank the team enough for bringing out the best and making my big day more memorable. So good to see such talents around. ❤️
