I regretfully express my desire for Google reviews to have a rating of 0 stars, as that is the appropriate reflection of the quality of service provided by this company. This company proved to be utterly worthless when hired for my special occasion – my engagement on November 18, 2023. Allow me to elaborate on the numerous reasons why they are, without a doubt, the worst company I've ever encountered: 1) They arrived two hours late to the venue on my engagement day. Despite being tardy, they only took single portraits of me. When my fiancé requested solo pictures, they claimed it would be done after the function. Astonishingly, at the end of the event, they insisted on leaving, citing the end of their shift, refusing to capture my fiancé's solo portraits unless we paid extra for extended hours. 2) During the video shoot, they set up a tripod capturing footage from the same angle – a task I could have easily managed myself. Hiring them for such basic work seemed entirely pointless. 3) The photographer and videographer neglected their duties by indulging in meals during the function, missing important moments in the process. 4) Despite paying Rs 60,000 for a gathering of 100 people, I received only 600 photos from the event. This equates to Rs 100 per picture, a price that suggests more pictures should have been taken. 5) The outdoor setup, featuring a swimming pool, was completely ignored, with not a single picture taken. 6) Post-event communication was highly unprofessional. They consistently promised to call back but failed to do so, requiring me to follow up repeatedly. 7) Upon filing a complaint, their proposed solution was to edit the video and teaser with a professional editor. However, the result was far from satisfactory – the teaser was comical, and the 1-hour 20-minute cinematography video included awkward moments of them handling the camera. 8) Remarkably, we received the video teaser and cinematography on February 3, 2024, nearly three months after our engagement. The only redeeming aspect of this company was the album. Unless you want to waste your money, I strongly advise against booking their services. This negative review is an exception for me, as their unprofessionalism and the absence of meaningful memories captured compelled me to share my experience.

I just don’t have words for how beautifully studio memory lane has captured each and every moment of my wedding journey. Well dedicated team and the pictures came out like a dream.

We have had a really bad experience working with Studio Memory Lane Ludhiana. It has been over two months and we don't have any of the videos available to us! I mean you get to a point where you lose the wedding excitement and are tired of telling everyone how long the photographers are taking. Trust me, you don't want to get to that point. The only thing they have focussed on (on the calls we have had) is money. We gave them 90% of their fee before we got anything and before the wedding. However, we decided to hold the remaining 10% to get the final product, and I am glad we did! Here are some of the many reasons, I WILL not recommend that you go with them - a) It takes them forever to prepare anything. I highly doubt they put in efforts to turn something. They just delay things. In their contract, they said we would have everything WITHIN a month, and it has been over 2 months. b) The quality of photos and the teaser they prepared (draft which none of us liked) isn't just professional. Period. We have lighting equipments shown in many many photos. Some of the photos are tilted. The teaser they prepared had absolutely no flow to it. The music changes and the videos had no order or sequence and were absolutely all over the place. Happy to put draft photos in the comments if anyone wants to see them. c) Everytime we talk to them asking for the final product, they start with how it's prepared and we should now transfer the remaining 10% of the fee. However, we insist we want to see the final product, which we still haven't received. I only wish we withheld more than 10% of the fee. PLEASE DON'T PAY THEM in full even though they would keep insisting you do. d) They told us that they would be using drones and stuff. We haven't seen one video or photo in which drones were used. All in all, I would highly recommend that you use someone else for your event! Happy to substantiate everything I sent and put photos and screenshots to prove everything.

Photography for a wedding event is something that has to be cherished for the rest of your blessed married life. So its very important to hand over that task to someone who is capable enough to capture it with all your true emotions and the team SML, notably Mr. Lucky, Mr. Rajan, Mr. Sukhwinder is excellent for that. Now the most important part that comes is editing, it requires utmost patience to understand clients requirment. This task was perfectly handed by the senior manager Mr. Gursimran Jassal, he is so patient and passionate about his work that one will never be able to complain about anything. Definitely the best guy. :)

In summary: - if you can tell the difference between professional and amateur photography, I would recommend you steer away from studio memory lane. - If you are after the results similar to that of their promotional content, I think you will very much be disappointed. My understanding is that their promotional work might have been Done by a professional, of whome there are very scant actively working for them and they will most definitely not be the ones who rock up to cover your events. Who will rock up to cover your events are a bunch of young buys who are “interested” in photography but have not education, training to experience into the subject. I have been wanting to write this for a long time but life got in the way. Anyway, we hired these guys for my sister’s wedding, which was being held in Khanna, Punjab India. I chose them because their publicised photos appeared ver much candid and not a lot of flash work, which I personally am a fan of. We made all the payments in full with all the advance payments as requested. Here’s a list of things they FAILED to deliver on however: 1) failed to provide me the RAW copies of all the photos as specifically requested by myself before signing the contract 2) Failed to bring adequate equipment to the wedding and other events. They didn’t bother to bring a single gimbal to the events and everything was done handheld. The videographer (what he called himself) only had one video movement as a result (a side to side pan) which is very evident throughout the video and appears highly unprofessional. 3) Delivery of photos- so they DON’T edit all their photos apparently. They only edit the ones you want in an album. So if you don’t want an album from these guys- apparently they will NOT edit your photos. Which is absolutely ridiculous as no modern day professional photographer delivers unedited photos. If I am paying in excess of Rs.1lack, the least I should expect is my photos to be edited when delivered to me in a soft copy. To make matters worse, they did not bother to crop in or remove unwanted objects/stuff from the delivered photos. I mean c’mon, are you serious? This is very much common sense and expected by clients all the times. I was not asking for anything special. 4) Super inexperienced and very much non-patient bunch of boys were sent to cover my sister’s special day. They had the audacity to complain about the late runnings of the events straight to her face during her special day. Additionally, the boys had very little to almost no insight into the subject of photography itself. They very much did not understand composition. It was as if they were told to press the shutter button somewhere in the vicinity of the subject and the rest was all just experiment and left on destiny. This was especially worse as their “creative team”, who was not creative at all by the way, were terrible at composing so there were at least >90% shots that needs severe cropping and removing of objects. Album quality and prices were good and I didn’t really have any complaints in this department.

After looking around for lots of vendors we found StudioMemoryLane. They covered all our wedding functions. The photos came out to be great. Their teams were very professional and had covered all the event very nicely. All the good moments are captured nicely. They even took all the efforts to gather our family members together to get their pictures clicked at right time in the right spot (Surely a task as our families are normally too busy with guests the they would not be together for a click). The final outcome of pictures and videos came out to be really nice. The album quality is also very good and the videos are also nice. Thanks to studiomemorylane for capturing the special moments of our life nicely. :)
