This review was long overdue but only because I have so much to write. I was supposed to get married in April 2020 in India but we all know what happened. We had booked The Wedding Conteurs but everything went on a hold. Our preps resumed in 2021 and TWC made it so easy for us to get back into things. They were everything we wanted in our wedding photographers and more. I couldn’t be happier with our photographs. My favorite part was the bridal photoshoot. For someone who really is no good at posing for photographs, they really helped me out and made it look so natural and candid. I got married in Kolkata and they literally made me look like a princess in a palace. Nitin was the lead photographer and was so patient, calm and made us feel super comfortable. He made sure he snuck us out for our couple’s photoshoot. The entire team was very professional. Our wedding went on till pretty late at night and they had an early morning flight to catch but they were attentive throughout. I don’t think they got any sleep. They really captured the essence of each function - Mehndi, Sangeet and the Wedding. We loved all the pictures and the wedding trailer and videos. Got so many compliments on the video as well. They incorporated the songs we wanted and included family interviews. Really heard what we had to say and the end result was exactly what we wanted. The best part was how nice the entire team was. Nitin was exceptional with the photographs/videos and Shiv was so helpful and responsive. The editing of the photos and videos was top notch. Not only are they excellent at what they do but they’re also good people. Undoubtedly one of the best vendors we had. I can not recommend TWC enough! - Neha & Ayan

We have known Shiv since our wedding where he did candid photo shoot for us. I think Shiv had started out into wedding photography not long before leaving behind his corporate job and my wife got in touch with him to cover our wedding with the trigger obviously being friends connection and a short portfolio on Facebook. Well that March month of 2014 to today, almost 5 yrs. It feels like it was just yesterday that we had a wonderful collection of memories created for us by him and the journey just continues even today. With Shiv there is never a feeling that you are being asked to pose, there is never a feeling of discomfort to do certain things in front of the camera and there is never a dull moment. Standing there you can only guess what will be the end result and often you are surprised. The emotions, the moments, the surroundings, the people, the Colors, everything comes alive. As I said, in between our wedding and this last shoot with us that you are privy to, we have had many chances to get clicked. Several of Megha's cousins and siblings, one of my cousin, all were so mesmerized by our wedding pics, that he became the defacto candid photographer and hence a constant figure in most weddings that we attended in the last 5 years. The old adage 'a picture speaks a thousand words' couldn't be more apt for Shiv. His pics not only speak them but also enact them for the beeholder to feel the moment. We wish him all the best and thank him for this wonderful gift where he chose to cover us in this beautiful city of Mumbai to mark our 5 th anniversary. Nobody could have been better than The Wedding Conteurs to shoot our wedding. I’m not given to making bold sweeping statements but this one is true. Shiv and Nitin were excellent and so accommodating of our last minute arrival and crazy schedule before the wedding that we couldn’t be more grateful. We are both self confessed awkward in front of the camera people and none of that came through in our pictures, and the moments they captured are simply priceless. Right from the warm hugs exchanged upon seeing dear ones after long to glances exchanged during the ceremony they captured the essence of our relationship. “Warmth” as they described our relationship also encapsulates our experience with them. They joined our events like family, doubled our joy with their beautiful energy and tripled it with the lovely pictures. We would totally renew our vows just to be clicked by then again! They are not one of the best choices but the ONLY choice for wedding photography.

TWC was a recommendation from a friend that had used their services recently. I was sure they would not fit my budget, but I reached out to them anyway. TWC has been professional, reliable, flexible and accommodating. I reserved them for my wedding after one phone call and a bunch of emails. I am glad that we hired The Wedding Conteurs to capture our wedding. I had been following Shiv & Nitin?s work for the last 2 years after I came across them at my childhood friend?s wedding ? her strong recommendation on the quality of work and their professionalism added to my liking for their work and as soon as my wedding date was decided, I got in touch with Shiv. From the 1st discussion on the phone and the subsequent meetings with the team to the delivery of the pictures and the videos has been a smooth sail with them. After searching for about 3 months for the perfect partners to capture our wedding i came across TWC through WedMeGood and when i saw their work and met them i knew they were the ones. Both Nitin and Shiv are extremely patient and punctual. They have this procedure where they ask the bride and groom to fill a questionnaire to be able to get to know them and hence do a better job. However, we didn't cooperate with them on that and neither are the two (My husband and I) of us very comfortable in front of the camera but when you see the pictures and the videos you wouldn't believe what i am saying. Their video surely made all the women cry. I am so grateful for having them on board.

I had not finalised any photographer till like a month before my wedding as the one I had wanted was already booked and I couldn't make up my mind about the others. He recommended few photographers and I met all of them. I am someone Who will not finalise until I am 100% sure that the person will be able to deliver what I want. Plus I have a big family so they need to be comfortable with him as well. The first time We met Shiv his calm demeanour and the way he let his work speak for itself impressed me. He and his his whole team just got involved with the whole family and never let us feel that they are an outsider or we didn't know them till like a month back. They have managed to capture the most amazing moments that I didn't even realise coz they just flashed by in but when I saw the pictures I kind of relived my whole wedding. Every picture of mine speaks a thousand words and I had such a hard time choosing the ones to go into the album. He puts in extra effort to make sure he gets the perfect shot like he would come to our dance practices to know on the final day where would we all be standing and also know get to know the whole family. He is really great with portrait shots. The video Team he collaborates with is also Excellent. They came up with really cool ideas and kept us laughing till the end. All in all definitely a 5 star experience and Thank you Shiv for all the beautiful memories you and your team have captured for me and my family.

Always wished my wedding to be covered by a friend, unfortunately had no photographer friend. But then I met you guys. It's been exactly as i wanted it to be. I could see friends in you guys when you were clicking us. It's such an amazing feeling when you don't have to worry about being perfect infront of camera.
