This review alone won’t do justice to the beauty of a company that is The Wedding Theory. I personally found them without any personal recommendations and purely on social media, which happened to be dumb luck. Because I don’t think we would have been this happy with the choice of our wedding day photographers if not for them. :’) They come in as the cutest bunch of strangers and leave feeling like part of the family, listen to what you and your partner really are instead of painting a picture of how they think life on the internet is trending (ugh, hate). Paint those core memories onto the screen with honesty and love, and cherry on top? We are the only people in our circle of friends who got their photos and video delivered within the mentioned timeline, haha, and I say this because some of them are still waiting! All the photos were shot and edited beautifully. The candid photos were especially stunning, as they subtly captured important moments and all the happenings around us without intruding or making anyone self-conscious. I think that’s what made the difference—the team managed to capture all the significant bits without ever needing to intervene or disrupt the process. The wedding video was also dreamy, shot and edited brilliantly. It has become our favorite 10-minute video, one we find ourselves watching over and over again. This was all made possible thanks to Prathish and his team, who are truly passionate and enthusiastic about their craft, which shines through in their work. Looking back at our wedding, one of the best decisions we made was choosing this amazing team to capture it all. From the very beginning, they were so warm, easy to talk to, and incredibly accommodating of every little detail we had in mind. Nithish was our point of contact right from the time of booking, and he instantly made us feel like we were in great hands. He’s so friendly, calm, and just genuinely a lovely person to work with — always available, always understanding, and full of good vibes. Over the course of four days - Nithish, Shaheer and Charan were with us throughout, capturing every little moment so effortlessly. They made both of us, who are usually quite camera-conscious, feel completely at ease, and that honestly made such a big difference. Shaheer, especially — doesn’t talk much at all, but is absolutely adorable and lets his work do all the talking. On the wedding day, the rest of the team joined in — Vydev, Faaz, and Krishnakumar (who handled the live so smoothly!) Vydev and Faaz were a joy to have around — they brought a lot of creativity to the table and got some really fun, thoughtful clips that we absolutely love. They blended in so well with the vibe of the day and really knew how to capture moments without making anything feel forced. The team were not just shooting our events; they were genuinely part of the celebration. The candid video the team created for us was the cherry on top — it had us both in happy tears, reliving all the emotions, laughter, and love from those unforgettable days. Looking back, choosing to work with Wedding Theory was one of the best decisions I made. Nitish and team were so easy to work with. My husband and I are both camera shy and did not like the idea of being the center of attention during the wedding. We had told Nitish we did not want a wedding that is directed by the photography/videography team, but rather a wedding where they just integrate into the ceremonies and capture memories through natural (unposed) candids. They really understood the assignment! I got the most surreal and beautiful photos and videos. All the guests and our friends also made sure to comment how dreamy the photos looked. Apart from the actual photos taken, the quality of the editing and the speed with which they executed the assignment was also phenomenal. No complaints whatsoever! If you're second guessing your decision to work with the Wedding Theory team, I would urge you to just say Yes without any hesitation.
