Our wedding planning and coordinating were handled by Monish and Agastya. This is going to be a long review, so sit back and grab a cup of coffee. Monish was extremely helpful in coordinating with venues and planning things under our budget. He came with us for the venue visits, spoke to the concerned people and gave some good ideas about bringing some prices within budget. His team did the decor and arrangements in time, which was a good thing. His team was also available throughout on the first day of the wedding to cater to our guests and us. Now coming to what didn't go as planned. Here are the points: 1. We were promised actual flowers for the wedding decor. All flowers that were brought in were artificial and were getting stuck in the bride's hair 2. The dimensions of the mandap were so small that it could accommodate only the bride and the groom. The important people in our lives, i.e. our parents, had to sit OUTSIDE the mandap 3. The carpet used during the wedding ceremony, which is the most important and auspicious ceremony of our ENTIRE LIVES, was so dirty that we could not imagine doing a pooja there 4. During one of the outdoor events, we were calling Monish continuously to switch on the coolers. We had hired coolers just for such a situation, but Monish could not get them switched on till almost the end of the event. The couple and the guests had to just sit under the sun on the wedding day! 5. Basic sanity such as a backup generator, right (actual) flowers, cleanliness of the venue, internal coordination were missing completely 6. We had to coordinate with the photographer and the venue during and after our wedding to get our things done. Things, which Monish should have been on top of and should have coordinated for. Things, which we were told that will be handled by Monish The team had their reasons why the things happened the way they happened. They tried to blame their in-house flower vendor, their decor team and the venue. But at the end, we got a sub-par experience on the biggest day of our lives even after paying the agreed-upon amount.
