Ashka's reference came to us from a dear friend. We were looking out for a makeup artist who would be able to live upto the expectations of a German bride and a Bengali groom. She did the makeup of the bride and her close family for all the functions of Mehendi, Cocktail, Wedding and Reception very beautifully. The highlight was the wedding day when she enhanced the natural beauty of the bride with her makeup skills by giving her the Bengali bride look. And she got the Bride ready for the reception look within a very short time. I was very nervous about my '2 states' wedding. I wanted different looks as in separate ones for my Marathi style wedding and north Indian bridal look for my reception. also, I am not a girl who uses make up regularly or even has much sense of it. so overall I was very skeptical about how would I look on the day! but Ashka was so confident, on point and helpful during the whole process. she did all my looks with utter perfection and made me a beautiful bride. everyone praised all my looks so much that I thought all my hardwork for the wedding preparations was worth it. if it was not for her, my wedding wouldn't be this perfect because for a bride how she looks resonates with how she feels and reflects on all the vibes around her. Ashka Shukal, I first met her and witnessed her work at my best friend's wedding in Pune. I was so impressed by her work and professionalism that I instantly decided to contact her when my wedding day was fixed. Although she is put up in Mumbai, she travels readily to any place in the country to help you look the best at your D-Day. As my wedding was in Bangalore she accommodated my appointment in her busy schedule which means she had to do night travel to reach the venue.
